Base Class: Bard
College of Medicine
Clinical Training
When you join the College of Medicine at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Medicine skill and the healer's kit. If you already have proficiency in Medicine, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make with it.
When you use a healer's kit to stabilize a dying creature, that creature also regains 1 hit point.
Additionally, you gain the following action:
Triage. You can spend one use of your healer's kit to tend to a creature and restore hit points equal to one roll of your Bardic Inspiration die plus your Charisma modifier.
First Aid Preparedness
During a short or long rest, you can expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and restoring that many uses of your healer's kit.
Prescription
Starting at 6th level, your ability to tend wounds with your healer's kit improves. You can use Triage as a bonus action. When you use your bonus action to perform Triage, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration to grant that creature a Bardic Inspiration die. When a creature rolls your Bardic Inspiration die, they restore hit points equal to the roll.
Practiced Procedure
Starting at 14th level, you understand medicine well enough to stave off death and disease.
You gain the following uses of your healer's kit.
Defibrillate. As an action, you can attempt to resuscitate a creature that has died within the last minute. You must expend 5 uses of your healer's kit and make a DC 20 Wisdom (Medicine) check. On a success, the creature returns to life with 1 hit point.
Medical Intervention. You can spend 1 minute performing a procedure on a creature. When you do, you can expend 4 uses of your healer's kit to end either one disease, the blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned condition, any reduction to one of the target's ability scores, one effect reducing the target's hit point maximum, or to reduce the target's exhaustion level by one.
Transfusion. When you use your bonus action to perform Triage, instead of spending one use of your healer's kit, you can choose to take damage equal to the amount healed.
