Path of the Shield

For most barbarians rage means more damage and anger, for a Path of The Shield barbarian it means protecting your party and taking hit after hit.

Taunt

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can use an attack action to taunt as many creatures equal to your proficiency bonus within 30 ft each creature must roll a charisma saving throw or become taunted, the dc of this roll is 8+your strength bonus+your proficiency bonus, until the start of your next turn if a creature, that has been taunted, attacks a creature other than you they have disadvantage on their attack. If a creature uses an attack that has an area of effect they only have disadvantage if it is not centered on you. Creatures, that have been taunted, have advantage on attacks against you. Creatures that have been taunted can take the disengage action once every round. If a creature or creatures takes the disengage action on their turn they remain taunted.
