Bard
Base Class: Bard

Through whispered prophecy, spinning dice, and enchanted tarot cards, they divine the hidden weave of fate — and dare to tug at its threads.
These bards are gamblers and oracles, their every performance a dance with destiny. They charm nobles with readings of glory and doom, then stride into battle to twist luck itself to their will. To walk the path of the Fortune Weaver is to know one truth: fate favors the bold.

Level 3: Fortune’s Favour

When a creature within 40 feet of you, you can see, makes an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you can use your reaction to invoke Fortune’s Favour. You must declare this before the roll is made.
• When the their roll is completed, your next d20 roll (attack, save, or check) before the end of your next turn is replaced with the mirrored result of their roll.
• The mirrored number is the Fate of the other (for example, if they rolled a 5, your next roll is a 16).
If you instead use this feature on your own roll, it costs a bonus action, and the mirrored result applies to a creature of your choice within 30 feet.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short rest.

Level 3: Cards of Fate

As a bonus action, you can draw one of your cards from your tarot deck. Choose one of the following options:
• Attack. Hurl the card at a creature within 60 feet. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC = your Spell Save DC) or take 1d8 + your Charisma modifier force damage.
• Defence. Throw the card toward an ally within 30 feet. Until the start of your next turn, that ally gains a +2 bonus to AC.

Each time you use this feature, roll a d4 to determine the card’s omen:
d4 OmenEffect:

1 - The FoolThe effect fails, but you regain one Bardic Inspiration die.

2 - The TowerThe effect succeeds, but you take half the damage dealt (or lose the AC bonus yourself).

3 - The Star The effect’s damage or AC bonus is doubled.

4 - The Wheel You may immediately choose a additional target within range.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum once), regaining all uses when you finish a long rest.

Level 6: Threads of Fortune

Your grasp of destiny strengthens, allowing you to bend threads more than before.
• When you use Fortune’s Favour on an ally, add your Charisma modifier to their mirrored roll.
• When you use it on an enemy, subtract your Charisma modifier from their mirrored roll.
• You can expend one Bardic Inspiration to use Fortune’s Favour without consuming a reaction or bonus action.

Level 14: Master of Destiny

When you or a creature within 30 feet rolls a natural 1 or natural 20, you can use your reaction to reverse that result (a 1 becomes a 20, or vice versa).
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Additionally, when you expend a Bardic Inspiration die, roll a d4. On a 4, you regain that use — fate smiles upon you.
