Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of the Endless Step pursue perfect motion. To these practitioners, speed is not merely swiftness, but the complete mastery of momentum, awareness, and positioning. Their movements become impossible to predict, their strikes land before an opponent can react, and their bodies seem to be untouchable between moments.

Some monasteries teach this tradition as a path toward enlightenment through motion, believing that stillness is an illusion and that all existence flows in endless cycles of movement. Others train agents, messengers, and living weapons capable of crossing battlefields in the blink of an eye.

Regardless of philosophy, masters of the Endless Step are feared for one simple reason: no enemy can ever truly keep pace with them.

Accelerated Body

3rd-level Way of the Endless Step feature

Beginning at 3rd level, Your body and senses operate with preternatural speed. You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Wisdom modifier, and your walking speed increases by 10 feet. In addition, you gain proficiency in the Perception skill if you do not already have it. If you already have proficiency in that skill, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.

Rapid Strikes

3rd-level Way of the Endless Step feature

At 3rd level, You can unleash attacks in a blur of motion. Once per turn when you hit with an unarmed strike, you may add additional damage equal to your Martial Arts die a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once),  You regain all expended uses of this feature when you finish a short or long rest.

Speed Siphon

At 6th level, You learn to disrupt momentum through precise vibrational strikes that siphon motion from your enemies. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to force the target to make a Constitution saving throw against your ki save DC. On a failed save, the creature’s speed becomes 0 until the start of your next turn, and your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature’s speed is halved until the start of your next turn, and your walking speed increases by 5 feet until the start of your next turn.

You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.

Velocity charge

At 11th level, Your body stores kinetic energy like a living battery, building power through motion and stillness alike. You can use the following benefits a total number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

As a bonus action, you can expend one use of this feature to regain expended ki points by rolling 1d6. You regain a number of ki points equal to the number rolled. You can use this bonus action only if you haven’t willingly moved during the current turn, and after you use it, your speed becomes 0 until the end of the turn. Once you use this bonus action, you can’t use it again until the start of your next turn.

Additionally, when you take the Dash action, you can expend one use of this feature to regain hit points equal to your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 1).

Time Slip

17th-level Way of the Endless Step feature

At 17th level, You can momentarily accelerate beyond the flow of ordinary time. When you use Flurry of Blows, you can spend 3 additional ki points to gain the following benefits until the end of the current turn:

  • You gain one additional action, That action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.
  • You can move through the space of another creature, treating the space as difficult terrain.
  • Creatures hit by your unarmed strikes cannot take reactions until the start of their next turn.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
