Base Class: Fighter
In the forgotten eras before recorded history, a being known only as the First Velocity tore across the world. It was not a god, nor a mortal, but something that existed between heartbeats — a living manifestation of pure motion. Legends say it outran death itself, circled the world in a single stride, and danced along the edge of time. Eventually, the First Velocity grew lonely in its perfection and chose to share its essence with worthy mortals who burned with the same unquenchable hunger for speed.
Those rare fighters who awaken this power become Godspeed Sovereigns. They are not merely fast — they become speed incarnate. Their bodies and souls are rewritten by the primal force of motion itself. Time seems to slow for them while they accelerate beyond comprehension. To face a Godspeed Sovereign is to fight a living storm: a blur of steel that strikes before the thought of danger even forms, a phantom that laughs at walls, arrows, and even the laws of reality.
Godspeed Sovereigns often appear as wandering duelists, legendary couriers, or battlefield specters. Some seek to push the limits of movement until they transcend the material plane entirely. Others use their gift to protect what matters most, becoming untouchable guardians who can cross continents in hours. A few grow arrogant, believing that nothing in existence can ever catch them — not even fate.
The path of the Godspeed Sovereign is lonely. The faster they become, the more the world seems to move in slow motion around them. Friends age and die while they remain untouched by time. Yet they press on, forever chasing the horizon, forever striving to become the next First Velocity.
Apex of Velocity
3rd-level Godspeed Sovereign feature
You have transcended mortal limits of speed and grace. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your maximum Dexterity score becomes 22. Your speed increases by 30 feet, and both your speed and Dexterity score can never be reduced by any effect. You ignore difficult terrain.
You require only half the normal time to finish a short or long rest. You can take the Dash action as a bonus action, and you do not provoke opportunity attacks when you do so.
As a bonus action, you can make a number of weapon attacks equal to the number of successful weapon attacks you landed this turn.
You gain a bonus to Dexterity saving throws and initiative rolls equal to your Dexterity modifier. You have advantage on initiative rolls and on all Dexterity ability checks, and you gain expertise in the Acrobatics skill.
Eternal Acceleration
7th-level Godspeed Sovereign feature
You gain the following abilities:
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Dexterity maximum becomes 24.
You exist in a state of perpetual flawless motion. You are permanently under the effects of the haste and freedom of movement spells. You are immune to the slow spell and any similar effects that would reduce your speed or limit your actions.
While you are not restrained or incapacitated, attack rolls made against you are made with disadvantage. You are immune to being charmed, frightened, and stunned.
When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
Supremacy of Motion
10th-level Godspeed Sovereign feature
You gain the following abilities:
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Dexterity maximum becomes 26.
Your mastery over velocity becomes absolute. When you take the Dash action, your speed for that Dash is doubled, and you can move through solid matter and magical barriers (you take force damage equal to 1d10 × 10 feet traveled through solid matter if you end your movement inside a solid object).
While you are not incapacitated, creatures cannot take reactions against you or on your turn unless you allow it. Creatures also cannot take legendary actions immediately before or immediately after your turn unless you allow it. You gain one additional reaction each turn.
At the beginning of each of your turns, you regain hit points equal to your fighter level. You are immune to disease, poison damage, and being poisoned. You can move along vertical surfaces and across liquids without falling during your movement.
Edge of Eternity
15th-level Godspeed Sovereign feature
You gain the following abilities:
Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Dexterity maximum becomes 28.
You move between moments. When a creature ends its turn, you can immediately move up to your full speed or take the Attack action (this costs neither your action nor your reaction).
Additionally, when you roll initiative, you can immediately move up to your maximum speed before the first round begins. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Godspeed
18th-level Godspeed Sovereign feature
Your Dexterity score increases by 10, and your Dexterity maximum becomes 30.
Your Action Surge can be used up to 5 times per long rest instead of the normal 2.
Timeless You no longer age, cannot be magically aged, and cannot die from old age. You are immune to exhaustion.
Vanishing Momentum If you move at least 300 feet on your turn, you cannot be perceived by any senses (including blindsight, tremorsense, or truesight) until the beginning of your next turn. You are effectively invisible and undetectable for that period.
