Base Class: Barbarian
Crimson Standard
While you are raging, your critical hits and killing blows ignite nearby allies with violent resolve.
When you score a critical hit or reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points, choose up to 3 creatures of your choice within 20 feet of you (including yourself).
Each chosen creature gains temporary hit points equal to:
1d6 + your Barbarian level
A creature can gain these temporary hit points only once per turn.
Blood for blood
Your rage binds your vitality to those you empower, turning harm against your allies into fuel for survival.
While raging, whenever a creature that currently has temporary hit points granted by your Crimson Standard takes damage, you can use your reaction to absorb or give a portion of that loss as healing.
You or a target regain hit points equal to half the damage that was dealt to the creature’s temporary hit points (rounded down).
You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Rallying Strike
While raging, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can use this feature to draw back the temporary vitality granted by your Crimson Standard.
Choose any number of creatures currently benefiting from temporary hit points granted by your Crimson Standard. Those creatures immediately lose all remaining temporary hit points from that feature.
Your attack then deals extra damage equal to the total temporary hit points lost this way.
The extra damage is the same type as the weapon’s damage.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until the start of your next turn.
Raging Inspiration
While you are raging, you gain the following benefits
- Your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
- Creatures that have temporary hit points from your Crimson Standard feature have advantage on the first attack roll they make on each of their turns.
- When a creature with temporary hit points from your Crimson Standard scores a critical hit or reduces a hostile creature to 0 hit points, another creature of your choice within 30 feet of you gains temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier.
In addition, when you score a critical hit while raging, you can immediately choose one creature affected by your Crimson Standard within 30 feet of you. That creature can use its reaction to
- move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks, or
- make one weapon attack.
