Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Those who walk the Path of the Tailed Spirit carry a powerful entity sealed deep within their soul. Whether forged through ancient ritual, inherited by bloodline, or bound by fate, this spirit grants immense strength at the cost of constant inner struggle. In battle, these warriors unleash violent surges of chakra-like energy that enhance their bodies, fuel monstrous transformations, and drive them into devastating frenzies. As their bond with the spirit deepens, they learn to harness its power without fully losing themselves to the beast within.

Chakra Manifestation

3rd-level Path of the Jinchuriki feature

Chakra Fang
Your teeth and chakra sharpen into savage predatory strikes. This attack deals 1d8 piercing damage. Once on each of your turns when you deal damage with this attack, you regain hit points equal to your proficiency bonus if you are below half your hit point maximum.

Chakra Claws
Chakra extends from your hands into destructive claw-like weapons. These attacks deal 1d6 slashing damage. Once on each of your turns when you make an attack with your claws as part of the Attack action, you can make one additional claw attack as part of the same action.

Chakra Tail
A tail of condensed chakra manifests behind you. It deals 1d8 force damage and has the Reach property. If a creature you can see within 10 feet hits you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to lash out defensively. Roll 1d8 and add the result to your AC against that attack, potentially causing it to miss.

Chakra Adaptation

6th-level Path of the Jinchuriki feature

The bond between you and the sealed spirit within you deepens, allowing its chakra to flow through your body more naturally. The manifestations created by your Jinchuriki Manifestation feature now count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Your evolving chakra also grants you unnatural adaptability. When you finish a short or long rest, choose one of the following benefits, which lasts until you finish your next short or long rest:

Climbing

You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, and you can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Jumping

When you jump, you can make a Strength (Athletics) check and extend your jump by a number of feet equal to the check’s total. You can make this special check only once per turn.

Swimming

You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and you can breathe underwater.

Tailed Beast Fury

10th-level Path of the Jinchuriki feature

The overwhelming chakra of your sealed spirit begins to seep into your attacks, crushing the minds and instincts of those who stand against you.

When you hit a creature with your chakra manifestations while you are raging, you can force the target to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the target suffers one of the following effects of your choice:

• The target must use its reaction to make a melee attack against another creature of your choice that you can see.

• The target takes 2d12 psychic damage.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Cloak of the Jinchuriki

14th-level Path of the Jinchuriki feature

The power of your sealed spirit becomes so immense that its chakra can overflow from your body and empower those who fight beside you.

When you enter your rage, you can choose a number of willing creatures you can see within 30 feet of you equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of one creature). You gain 5 temporary hit points for each creature that accepts this feature.

Until your rage ends, the chosen creatures are empowered by your tailed beast chakra. Once on each of their turns, when a chosen creature hits a target with an attack roll and deals damage to it, that creature can roll a d6 and gain a bonus to the damage equal to the number rolled.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
