Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Zephyr Soul move like drifting leaves and strike like sudden gusts. Their Ki flows through the air itself, heightening their reflexes and allowing them to move with impossible grace. To these monks, stillness is death; motion is harmony.
Some become wandering messengers, rooftop runners, scouts, or guardians who seem to vanish into the wind before an enemy can react.
Level 3: Zephyr Flow
Your movement becomes part of your martial technique.
Swift Strike
When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike after moving at least 20 feet in a straight line immediately before the attack, the attack deals extra Lightning damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die. The target has to succed a Strenght savon throw (DC 10+ Wis. modifier) or fall prone.
Windborne Reflexes
Your reflexes sharpen beyond mortal limits.
While you aren’t wearing armor or wielding a Shield:
- Opportunity Attacks against you are made with Disadvantage.
- You gain proficiency in Initiative rolls. If you already have proficiency, add double your proficiency bonus instead.
- As a reaction, when a creature attacks you without doing damage, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Level 6: Soul of the Open Sky
Your Ki allows you to move as though carried by the wind.
You gain the following benefits:
- You gain a Climb and Swimming Speed equal to your Walking Speed.
- You have advantage on Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks.
- Difficult Terrain doesn’t cost you extra movement.
In addition, when you use Step of the Wind, you can move across liquids and vertical surfaces until the end of the turn without falling during the movement.
Level 11: Storm Evasion
Uncatchable Motion
You cannot be Surprised while you are conscious. And when you roll Initiative, you can move up to half your Speed immediately after the roll and before the first turn begins.
When you succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against an effect that allows you to take only half damage, you can immediately move up to half your Speed without provoking Opportunity Attacks.
Level 17: Form of the Zephyr
Level 3: Whisper of the Wind
Your spirit moves in harmony with the open air.
You learn the Primordial language.
In addition, you gain proficiency in the Perception skill if you don’t already have it. If you are already proficient, you instead gain proficiency in Insight or Survival.
You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to detect moving creatures or creatures attempting to hide from you.
