Base Class: Warlock
Your pact draws on the Upper Planes, the realms of everlasting bliss. You might enter an agreement with Bahamut, Tiamat, Aasterinian, Tamara, or another dragon of legend. Or you might have been called upon by some lesser dragon as you pursue goals aligned with theirs. Your pact allows you to wield the might of the dragons in all their magnificent ferocity.
Level 3: Draconic Fortitude
You gain resistance to one damage type associated with your draconic patron. Your chosen draconic patron determines your damage type resistance. Chromatic dragon patrons' (black, blue, green, red, and white) alignments are always Chaotic Evil. Metallic dragon patrons' (gold, silver, bronze, copper, and brass) alignments are always Lawful Good.
| Dragon | Damage Type |
|---|---|
| Black | Acid |
| Blue | Lightning |
| Brass | Fire |
| Bronze | Lightning |
| Copper | Acid |
| Gold | Fire |
| Green | Poison |
| Red | Fire |
| Silver | Cold |
| White | Cold |
Level 3: Draconic Spells
The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Dragonic Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Warlock Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Dragon’s Breath, Nathair’s Mischief, Rime’s Binding Ice |
| 5 | Ashardalon’s Stride, Zone of Truth |
| 7 | Charm Monster, Raulothim’s Psychic Lance |
| 9 | Geas, Summon Dragon |
Level 6: Dragon's Resolve
Your connection to your draconic patron further fortifies your mind. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.
Additionally, if you would fail an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw, you can roll 1d10 and add the result to your roll, potentially turning it into a success. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), but you can use it no more than once per roll. If the check still fails, this use of Dragon's Resolve isn't expended. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Level 10: Draconic Amplification
Your deepened connection with your draconic patron further augments your spellcasting. Once on each of your turns, when you damage a creature with an attack roll using a Warlock cantrip or spell, you can cause the target to take an extra 2d8 damage of the damage type you have Resistance to. If multiple creatures would take damage from your Warlock cantrips or spells, this damage is applied to all affected creatures.
Level 14: Dragonheart
You have become fully attuned to your dragon patron. You gain temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level plus your proficiency bonus.
You also gain a flight speed of 40 feet. Additionally, your damage from your Draconic Amplification ignores Immunity and Resistance. These benefits persist for 10 minutes or until you end them (no action required).
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest unless you expend a Pact Magic spell slot (no action required) to restore your use of it.
