Monk
Base Class: Monk

Warriors of The Will use their own minds to surpass standard physical limitations and manipulate the world around them in unorthodox ways. Because their tradition advocates for self-expression and freedom above all else, they are also sometimes called Freedom Fighters. Warriors of The Will are rare among mortals, but come from all walks of life. Because of this, many monks who adopt this way of life are celebrated, feared, and demonized by different people.

Level 3: Level 3 Abstinence

Most of the time, this ability is active. If you are affected by any condition except for the invisible condition, Abstinence is no longer in effect. Removing or treating all conditions reactivates Abstinence. While Abstinence is active, you can use your Wisdom modifier for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes or attacks with a monk weapon, and you can shape a tiny object into another tiny object, such as a weapon or a set of tools. If you are trying to cast a spell without Abstinence active, you must expend an amount of Focus points equal to double the spell's level for level 1+ spells and 1 Focus point if the spell is a cantrip

Additionally, you can use an Arcane Focus or any Monk weapon you have as Spellcasting Foci for your spells.

Level 6: Level 6 Mental Defense

While Abstinence is active, you can use Focus points for your Patient Defense Bonus Action to cast an Abjuration spell with the casting time of an Action. The amount used equals the spell's level for level 1+ spells and 0 if the spell is a cantrip. If Abstinence is not active, you cannot use the Patient Defense Bonus Action. Additionally, when you take damage from an effect that requires a saving throw, you can use your Deflect Attacks feature to reduce or redirect the effect at the attacker, similarly to how the feature can reduce or redirect damage from attack rolls.

Level 11: Level 11 Defiant Swiftness

While Abstinence is active, you gain a flying, swimming, climbing, or burrowing speed equal to the gained movement from unarmored movement. For example, if you reach level 14 with this subclass, you would have a flying, swimming, climbing, or burrowing speed of 25ft while Abstinence is active. While Abstinence is not active, every foot of movement costs 1 extra foot, as if affected by Difficult terrain.

Level 17: Level 17: Disillusioned

You gain immunity to Psychic damage and advantage on receiving either the Blinded or Deafened conditions. Additionally, you gain Truesight and Blindsight, each extending to a 45-foot radius.
