Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Your thirst for blood and victory has driven you beyond. You live for the fight, the bloodshed, the pain you cause and the devastation you witness. The world will bow at you feet.

Level 3: Warrior's Spirit

Rage is replaced with Fury. Instead of a set number of uses, Fury is charged by dealing damage. Upon dealing damage, the amount you dealt will be given to you as Fury. Attacks with melee weapons will give an additional 50%. Fury caps out at 100. Taking a long rest will grant you 30 charges.

Activating Fury will consume 10 charges. Upon activation:

  • You will gain resistance to Piercing, Slashing, and Bludgeoning damage.
  • You will deal additional damage with melee attacks (2 at level 1, 3 at level 9, 4 at level 16).
  • You will deal an additional 2 damage with heavy weapons.
  • You will have advantage on Strength and Constitution checks/saves.
  • You cannot hold concentration.

Upon activating Fury, you will lose 10 charges at the start of every turn until Fury is deactivated. Fury will end if:

  • You gain the incapacitated status.
  • You choose to end it (no action).
  • You start a turn with less than 10 charges.

Upon deactivating Fury, you will be unable to reactivate it for 2 turns.

Level 3: Corrective Strike

Upon missing an attack roll with a melee weapon, as a bonus action, you can expend 4 Fury to force the target to make a Dexterity save of 10+ your proficiency. If they fail, they will take half of what they would have had the attack hit. You can expend additional Fury, up to 5, to add 1 additional damage to the move per Fury spent. Damage dealt with Corrective Strike will not add to Fury.

Level 6: War Drum

The Fury cap is increased to 150.

Upon missing an attack, you can expend 6 Fury to aggressively strike the ground, causing a small shockwave. Upon doing so, all creatures within 5 feet of you will roll a Dexterity save, DC 10+ your proficiency. On failure, they will be knocked prone, on success they will have their movement speed halved for one turn.

Level 10: Battlefield Champion

Taking a long rest will now grant  you to 50 charges, as well the cap being raised to 200.

Once per long rest, you can take an action to convert Fury into health, up to your maximum.

If an enemy takes damage within 5 feet of you, you will gain 1/2 of the damage they took as Fury.

Level 14: Blind Fury

The Fury cap is now 250.

Upon landing a Reckless or Brutal attack, you can choose to expend 15 Fury to attack again with advantage. If this lands, you can attack again, with the price doubling for every subsequent attack. This can happen a maximum of three times per turn, and must be done with the same weapon. These attacks will not add to Fury.

PLEASE NOTE:

Persistient Rage is replaced with Persistiant Fury.

  •  Upon rolling initiative, you can choose to double your current Fury. Upon using this, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.

Fury will no longer end upon receiving incapacitated, now requiring the unconscious status.
