Monk
Base Class: Monk

Your training has led you to master the art of armed combat, blending martial discipline and supernatural focus into a seamless fighting style. To a Kensei, a weapon is not merely a tool—it is an extension of body, mind, and spirit.

Level 3: Kensei Discipline

Your martial training grants you mastery over a wide variety of weapons. You gain Proficiency with all Melee and Ranged Simple and Martial Weapons. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, choose two weapons with which you are proficient. These weapons become your Kensei Weapons until you finish your next Long Rest. A Kensei Weapon counts as a Monk Weapon for you regardless of its properties, including Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Loading, or Special. Additionally, you ignore any Strength requirements imposed by your Kensei Weapons, and you can  use Dexterity in place of Strength for any prerequisite related to wielding them.

Kensei Mastery

You gain the Mastery Property of each of your Kensei Weapons.

Agile Parry

While you are wielding a Melee Kensei Weapon and are not Incapacitated, you gain a +1 bonus to your Armor Class. Immediately after you use Flurry of Blows or expend at least 1 Focus Point as part of an attack made with a Melee Kensei Weapon, this bonus becomes +2 until the start of your next turn.

Way of the Brush

You gain Proficiency with your choice of Calligrapher's Supplies or Painter's Supplies.

Level 6: One with the Weapon

Your Focus flows through your weapons as naturally as through your body. Whenever you hit with a Kensei Weapon, you can choose the attack to deal Force damage instead of its normal damage type.

Deft Strike

Once on each of your turns, when you take the Attack Action and hit a creature with a Kensei Weapon, you can expend 1 Focus Point to deal extra damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die. This extra damage is the same type as the weapon's damage.

Martial Style

You gain one Fighting Style Feat of your choice for which you qualify. Whenever you gain a Monk level, you can replace this Fighting Style Feat with another Fighting Style Feat for which you qualify.

Level 11: Master of the Kensei

Your mastery of weapon combat reaches extraordinary heights. You can choose one additional weapon to become a Kensei Weapon whenever you finish a Long Rest, increasing your total number of Kensei Weapons to three.

Flurry of Weapons

Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you can replace any of its Unarmed Attacks with attacks made using your Kensei Weapons. If a Kensei Weapon used for one of these attacks has the Heavy or Two-Handed property, you must replace two Unarmed Attacks granted by Flurry of Blows for a single attack using that weapon. If the attack hits, roll the weapon's damage dice twice and add the relevant ability modifier only once per attack.

Sharpened Weapon

Your precision with weapons becomes nearly supernatural. Attack rolls made with your Kensei Weapons score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20. In addition, once on each of your turns when you make an attack with a Kensei Weapon, you can expend up to 3 Focus Points, and must choose (equal to how much Focus Points where spent) one of the following options:

Gain a +1/+2/+3 bonus to the attack roll.

Gain a +1/+2/+3 bonus to the damage roll.

Perfect Flow

When you use Flurry of Blows, you can make one additional attack as part of that feature. This additional attack can be an Unarmed Strike or an attack made with a Kensei Weapon.
