Base Class: Sorcerer
Some people are born with the touch of the Ethereal upon them, while others brush against it later in life. A near-death experience, a resurrection gone awry, or an encounter with a relic from beyond the mortal veil may leave an indelible mark upon the soul. Whatever the catalyst, the Unbroken Road opens before them, revealing hidden paths between worlds and the silent Lantern Host that walks them.
The Road is said to wind unseen through the Ethereal Plane, carrying every soul upon an endless journey. Death is not the journey's end, but merely the moment one first sets foot upon it. Those who travel it are known collectively as the Lantern Host: an eternal procession of souls in which kings walk beside beggars, heroes beside tyrants, and saints beside sinners. Whatever judgement awaits a soul, the Road continues ever onward.
Few claim to understand the Road or the Host. Some believe they are older than the gods themselves; others that they are simply another expression of the Weave, the great Resonance that binds all existence together. Whatever the truth, there have always been those whose lives have been forever changed by walking its hidden paths.
Whether the Unbroken Road is a force of nature, a cosmic truth, or the oldest story ever told remains unknown. Only this is certain:
No one walks alone.

At 3rd level, your affinity for the Unbroken Road awakens your awareness of hidden paths and forgotten ways. You gain proficiency in either Survival or Insight. If you already have proficiency in the chosen skill, you instead gain Expertise.
You always know which direction is north, and you cannot become lost except by magical means. Additionally, when you are familiar with a location, you always know the shortest physical route to reach it, provided such a route exists on your current plane of existence.

Level 6: The Road Embraced
At 6th level, you learn to share your bond with the Unbroken Road with those who journey beside you. When you or a willing creature you can see within 30 feet moves on its turn or begins falling, you can use your reaction to spend a Sorcery Point and reveal a hidden stretch of the Road.
Choose a number of willing creatures within 30 feet of you up to your Proficiency Bonus ({{proficiency}}). These creatures can use their reactions to gain a flying speed equal to their Speed until the end of your next turn. If a creature is still airborne when this effect ends, the Road bears them gently to the ground.
Level 14: The Road Unchallenged
At 14th level, your connection to the Unbroken Road allows you to briefly step beyond the limitations of the mortal world. Whenever you activate your Innate Sorcery feature you gain the following benefits:
• You can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. If you end your movement inside an object or creature’s space, you are shunted to the nearest unoccupied space and take 1d10 force damage.
• You can perceive into the Ethereal Plane, and invisible creatures and objects are visible to you.
• You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed and can move across vertical surfaces and along ceilings without falling while keeping your hands free.
• You ignore non-magical difficult terrain.
• You do not provoke opportunity attacks.
Additionally, when you use The Road Embraced while your Innate Sorcery is active, creatures benefiting from that feature can also move through creatures and objects as though they were difficult terrain until the end of their turn.
Level 18: The Road Unbroken
At 18th level, while your Innate Sorcery is active, your connection to the Unbroken Road reaches its fullest expression. The Road flows through you, and those who journey beside you instinctively find its hidden paths as if born to them.
You gain the following benefits:
• A flying speed equal to twice your walking speed and you can hover.
• You can move through creatures and objects as though they were difficult terrain without taking damage or being shunted.
• Whenever an ally starts its turn within 30 feet of you, the Road reveals a hidden path beneath their feet. Until the start of their next turn, their speed increases by 10 feet, they ignore nonmagical difficult terrain, and they do not provoke opportunity attacks.
