Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Seekers are secretive treasure hunters who scour the world for forgotten relics, ancient ruins, and magical secrets. Trained to recognize and withstand powerful enchantments, they delve where others fear to tread, unraveling the mysteries of long-lost civilizations and safeguarding dangerous artifacts from those who would misuse them.

Seeker Spells

The magic of your relentless pursuit of magical knowledge ensures you always have certain spells prepared. They don't count against the number of Ranger spells you have prepared.

Lv.3 Identify

Lv.5 Invisibility

Lv.9 Counterspell

Lv.13 Dimension Door

Lv.17 Legend Lore

Magical Beacon

As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of your Favored Enemy feature to activate a Magical Beacon for 1 hour, gaining the following benefits:

Detect Magic. You cast Detect Magic on yourself without expending a spell slot, and it doesn't require Concentration for the duration.

Alternative Casting. You ignore the gold cost of material components required by your Seeker spells while your Magical Beacon is active. In addition, when you cast Identify in this way, you instantly attune to the target magic item as part of the spell, provided you can normally attune to it.

Arcane Warding. You have Advantage on saving throws against spells.

Arcane Researcher

Your studies have taught you to combine practical wisdom with scholarly knowledge.

Whenever you make an Intelligence ability check, you gain a bonus to the check equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum bonus of +1).

In addition, you gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Arcana, History, or Religion.

Magical Might

While your Magical Beacon is active, your weapons become conduits for arcane power.

Once on each of your turns, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d10 Force damage.

Collector

Your experience handling powerful relics allows you to safely wield more magical treasures than most adventurers.

You can be attuned to up to four magic items at one time instead of three.

Additionally, you always have Remove Curse prepared. You can cast it once without expending a spell slot, and you regain the ability to do so when you finish a Long Rest.

Eyes of the Seeker

While your Magical Beacon is active, you gain Truesight with a range of 60 feet.

Additionally, while your Magical Beacon is active, whenever a creature you can see is about to cast a spell, you immediately learn the spell's name, the level at which it was cast, and whether it is cast using a spell slot, Innate Spellcasting, or another magical feature. If the casting method has limited uses, you also learn how many uses of that casting method the creature has remaining before it finishes a Long Rest.
