Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

"As you lived your ordinary, unremarkable life, the air around you grew impossibly cold. The sounds of the world faded into silence as a voice, neither near nor distant, echoed from above. Reverberating into your very soul. It spoke of stars older than history, the insignificance of worlds, and the fleetingness of the life around you, it spoke of the stage in which all of life unknowingly performs on. With every word, the universe seemed larger, and with it, you smaller. Until your own existence seemed nothing more than a flickering flame, sitting atop a raft in the center of a vast ocean too large to comprehend. It let the feeling linger, before speaking once more. It showed you that the smallest light can alter the course of the heavens. It taught you how to conduct the performance, and with it, it left you with one final message: "THE CURTAINS MUST FALL.", you knew exactly what it meant, and you would ensure it would come to be."

Touch of The Cosmos

"You seem confused. Worry not, I shall enlighten you."

Starting at 1st level, your attacks carry traces of the endless cosmos. Whenever you deal damage to a creature with a weapon attack or a cleric spell, it becomes Star Bound.

A creature that is Star Bound is surrounded by faint, intangible rings of starlight. Unless otherwise stated, a creature remains Star Bound for 1 minute. A creature ceases to be Star Bound if you are incapacitated or die.

Through the Real

"Upon seeing how small our world is, the distances between points began to unravel and shorten."

At 1st level, you gain the ability to place Star Marks on objects. As an action, you touch an unoccupied space or object within 5 feet of you to place a Star Mark there. Two Star Marks may be placed at a time. Upon placing a new one after the second, the oldest one is removed. Creatures that aren't Star Bound can use a bonus action while within 5 feet of a Star Mark to teleport to the other Star Mark. If these Star Marks are not within 90 feet of each other, the oldest Star Mark is removed.

You can use this feature four times. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity: Field of Stars

"Why are you running? The show has just begun!"

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to create a field of stars around you and bind those who are caught in its path.

As an action, you create a Star Field in a 30-foot spherical radius around you for a minute, choose any number of creatures in the area. Each chosen creature becomes Star Bound for a minute. This fields position is fixed. A Star Field is an area filled with cosmic energy. The field is lightly obscured to creatures that aren't Star Bound. A creature that is Star Bound can't willingly enter or leave a Star Field.

Whenever you become incapacitated, Star Fields immediately expire.

Curtain Call

"Willingly or not, you shall aid us, Heathen."

Starting at 2nd level, Star Fields are created at those who have fallen.

Whenever a Star Bound creature with a hit point maximum of at least 5 dies, a 10-foot-radius Star Field appears in its space and lasts for 1 minute.

Enlightenment

"You have opened up your mind and peeked behind the curtain. It is everything you've never dreamed of."

Starting at 6th level, those who are Star Bound cannot help but spread the word.

Whenever a Star Bound non-Enlightened humanoid dies, they become Enlightened for 30 minutes and regain hit points equal to half their hit point maximum. Enlightened creatures are unaffected by Star Fields. Enlightened creatures instantly have their hit points reduced to 0 if they are no longer Star Bound. Enlightened creatures are an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the creature shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the Dodge action and uses its move to avoid danger. The creature retains its statistics.

Sway of the Stars

"You are a fly; caught in a web you cannot even begin to understand."

Starting at 8th level, your Star Fields become more powerful.

You and your allies are resistant to damage dealt by spells from creatures that are Star Bound while within a Star Field. Damage dealt to creatures who are Star Bound and within a Star Field is replaced by Force damage of the same amount. Those creatures also have their movement halved as if they were walking on difficult terrain. Whenever a creature makes an attack roll against one of those creatures, it adds 1d4 to the attack roll.

As an action, you may create a Star Field in a 10-foot radius around you for 3 rounds. Creatures in the area don't become Star Bound. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Usher in The End

"Do not fret! It is a good day! You are only feeling its embrace!"

Starting at 17th level, you are able to affect the web of life itself.

Whenever a creature that is Star Bound is dealt damage, if it wasn't damage dealt by this feature, all other non-Enlightened Star Bound creatures take that much force damage. Whenever a non-Enlightened Star Bound creature dies, all Enlightened creatures regain hit points equal to that enemy's number of Hit Dice.
