Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The Deadeye Rogue is a specialist, mastering the art of striking from afar with masterfully placed precision shots. Deadly and reclusive, these sharpshooters are priceless assets to any army.

Pick Off

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you have learned how to isolate single targets of interest, and take them down swiftly. The normal range and long range of all ranged weapons you use are doubled.

You also gain an additional way to use your Sneak attack; You don't need advantage on the attack roll, or an allied creature within 5 feet of the target, to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you are at least 60 feet away from it, using a ranged weapon, and you don't have disadvantage on the attack roll. All the other rules for Sneak Attack still apply to you.

Stalker's Cloak

Beginning at 9th level, you know advanced techniques to hide in plain sight, and you can now strike down a target without ever revealing your position. You may spend 1 minute to create a camouflage suit for yourself and/or another creature. While wearing a cloak, a creature has a +10 bonus to stealth checks and a movement speed of 10 feet and cannot benefit from increases to their movement speed.

Each cloak lasts until the end of your next long rest, unless disassembled, which can be done at any point as a bonus action. A cloak requires 1 minute to don or doff. A creature wearing a cloak completely blends in with their environment and attack rolls made by them do not give away their position.

A creature damaged by an attack or spell from a creature camouflaged this way has advantage on perception checks to spot the source of the attack. As camouflage is specific to every environment, changing from one terrain type to another requires creating new cloaks to match. Cloaks that are mismatched to their environment impart a -10 penalty to stealth checks instead.

Deadeye

At 13th level, your accuracy and power with a bow allows you to make shots from miles away. Your ranged weapon attacks now gain an additional +1 to hit for every 20 feet between you and your target.

Take the Shot

Starting at 17th level, your aim is so fast and precise that you can intercept a would-be assailant before they can strike. As a reaction, when a hostile creature makes an attack roll against an allied creature within range, you may make a ranged attack against the hostile creature. If your attack lands, it is treated as though it were a critical hit.

You must have line of sight to both creatures. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus per long rest.
