Base Class: Barbarian
Reanimated Barbarians typically come in the form of a shambling mass of stitched flesh, fueled by nothing except for a rage against the world. Their existence is painful, and they possess the tools to inflict that pain back on their enemies ten-fold.
Level 3: Pain Battery
Once per turn while your Rage is active, when you're damaged by a spell or attack you may gain a Pain Charge. Once on each of your turns when you hit with a melee attack, you may expend any number of Pain Charges. The attack deals an additional 1d6 Necrotic damage per charge expended.
You can hold a number of Pain Charges equal to your Constitution Modifier (Minimum of one). You lose all unspent Pain Charges when your rage ends.
Level 6: Jumpstart
As a Bonus Action, you can take Necrotic Damage and remove one of the following conditions: Charmed, Frightened, Blinded, Deafened, or Poisoned. At the beginning of each of your turns you may roll 1d12, healing for the amount rolled plus your Constitution modifier. This effect lasts for 1 minute, ending early if you have the Incapacitated condition.
To determine the Necrotic damage, roll a number of d8s equal to your Rage Damage bonus and add them together, plus your Constitution modifier.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Short Rest unless you expend a use of Rage (no action required) to restore your use of it.
Level 10: Aura of Suffering
As a Bonus Action, as well as when you activate your Rage or Jumpstart feature, you may activate your Aura of Suffering, spreading a debilitating, unseeable aura in a 10-foot Emanation that originates from you. While the Aura is active, you and hostile creatures within 10 feet of you are subject to the following effect:
When a creature starts it's turn within the Aura, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or have it's speed halved and take 3d8 Necrotic damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage only.
The Aura lasts until you take a Bonus Action to deactivate it, and is deactivated immediately when you have the Incapacitated condition.
Level 14: Shocking Revival
While Rage is activate, if you're reduced to 0 Hit Points, you may instead call on your undead power and reform in a cacophonous blast. You immediately regain a number of Hit Points equal to your Barbarian level and may expend any number of Pain Charges, rolling a d12 for each of them and healing for the same amount. All hostile creatures within 20 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or take Necrotic damage equal to the amount healed and become Stunned until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage only.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
