Base Class: Paladin
You are a paladin who manipulates narrative threads and living shadows. Your magic doesn’t just create illusions—it rewrites perception, distorts fate, and summons echoes of forgotten stories to fight beside you.
Your oath binds you to the idea that stories—especially the ones buried in darkness—shape reality.

Shadowbinding Verse
As an action, speak a binding phrase woven from shadow. Choose one creature within 30 ft. It must make a Wis save or suffer one effect until the end of your next turn:
• Shadow Mute — The creature cannot speak or cast spells with verbal components.
• Illusory Shackles — The creature’s speed becomes 0 as shadowy chains hold it (no physical restraint).
• Truth in Darkness — The creature loses resistance to psychic and radiant damage.
Echo of the Tale
As a bonus action, summon a shadowy echo of yourself or an ally for 1 minute.
The echo occupies a space within 30 ft and grants one benefit:
• Allies adjacent to the echo gain +2 AC.
• You can cast spells as though you were in the echo’s space.
• You can make attacks from the echo’s space (once per turn).
The echo is intangible and cannot be harmed.

Aura of Whispered Stories
By 7th level, your presence distorts narrative around you.
Allies within 10 ft gain advantage on saving throws against illusion, fear, and charm.
Additionally, whenever an enemy within your aura makes an attack roll, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage by whispering a fragment of their own forgotten story, unsettling them.
Shadow Rewrite
Starting at 15th level, You can alter the “story” of a moment by bending its shadow.
When you or an ally within 30 ft makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you may use your reaction to add a Shadow Die: a d10.
If the roll still fails, you may choose to rewrite the failure:
The creature becomes heavily obscured by swirling shadows until the end of its next turn, gaining advantage on its next roll.
Uses equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.
Avatar of the Storyweaver
At 20th level, For 1 minute, as an action you become a mythic figure woven from shadow and story.
• You gain resistance to all damage except force.
• You can move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain.
• Your weapon attacks deal an additional 1d8 psychic + 1d8 radiant damage.
• You can speak a Narrative Command as a bonus action, choosing one:
“Be lost in your own tale.”
One creature must make a Wis save or be blinded and deafened by overwhelming illusions.
“Step from the shadow.”
Summon a second shadow echo that mirrors your movements; you may attack from either echo’s space.
“Truth cuts deepest.”
All illusions within 60 ft are dispelled; invisible creatures become outlined in silver shadow.
Once used, this feature cannot be used again until a long rest.
