Path of the Battlerager

Dwarven barbarians who walk the Path of the Battlerager focus their will upon fighting without any thought of self-preservation. A battlerager is never afraid to charge anything when their Rage is filling them with Power.

Level 3: Path of the Battlerager

Dwarven barbarians who walk the Path of the Battlerager focus their will upon fighting without any thought of self-preservation. A battlerager is never afraid to charge anything when their Rage is filling them with Power.

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain the ability to use spiked armor (see the “Spiked Armor” below) as a weapon.

SPIKED ARMOR

Spiked armor is a rare type of medium armor made by dwarves. It consists of a leather coat and leggings covered with spikes that are usually made of metal.

AC: 14+ 2 max dex.
Stealth: Disadvantage
Weight: 45 lbs.

Grapple Attack

Whenever a creature fails a grapple save against you, that creature takes 1d6 piercing damage. You use your Strength modifier for the attack and damage rolls. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level.

Spiked armor attack

You can use a bonus action on your turn to make a melee weapon attack with your armor spikes against a target within 5 feet of you. If the attack hits, the spikes deal 1d6 piercing damage. You use your Strength modifier for the attack and damage rolls. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level.

Spiked Retribution

While you are wearing spiked armor and are raging you gain the following benefits:

Whenever you are hit by a melee attack while you are wearing spiked armor, the creature attacking you takes piercing damage equal to your proficiency bonus.

Level 6: Reckless Abandon

Beginning at 6th level, when you use Reckless Attack while raging, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus (minimum of 1). They vanish if any of them are left when your rage ends.

Level 10: Battle Charge

Starting at 10th level, you can take the Dash action as a bonus action while raging.

Level 14: Unstoppable

At 14th level, your fury in battle makes you unstoppable. While you’re raging, your speed cannot be reduced in any way, moreover, when you use your Battle Charge feature while raging, you ignore difficult terrain.
