Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Clerics of the Unveiled Desire Domain believe that desire is not sin, but revelation. Beneath law, shame, fear, and inherited morality lies the true shape of the soul. To these clerics, temptation is a test, beauty is a weapon, fear is a teacher, and power belongs to those strong enough to master themselves before mastering others.

Some clerics of this domain serve gods or demon princes of seduction, tyranny, ambition, transgression, or forbidden knowledge. Others belong to secretive mystery cults that teach self-mastery through exposure to dangerous truths. They are priests, tempters, confessors, manipulators, and judges of hidden weakness.

To the faithful of the Unveiled Desire, the soul is not born. It is forged.

Level 3: Velvet Tongue

You gain proficiency in your choice of Deception or Persuasion. If you already have proficiency in both skills, choose one of the following instead: Insight or Intimidation.

You also learn one cantrip of your choice from the following list: mage hand, minor illusion, prestidigitation, or vicious mockery. The chosen cantrip counts as a cleric cantrip for you, but it does not count against the number of cleric cantrips you know.

Deception

You gain proficiency in your choice of one of the following skills: Deception or Persuasion.

Persuasion

You gain proficiency in your choice of one of the following skills: Deception or Persuasion.

Level 3: Unveiled Desire Domain Spells

Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a Cleric level specified in the Unveiled Desire Domain Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Unveiled Desire Domain Spells
Cleric Level Prepared Spells
3 Charm Person, Command, Dissonant Whispers, Disguise Self
5 Fear, Hypnotic Pattern
7 Charm Monster, Compulsion
9 Dominate Person, Geas

Level 3: Channel Divinity — Unmask the Want

As a Magic action, you present your holy symbol and choose one creature you can see within 60 feet of yourself. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Cleric spell save DC. A creature immune to the Charmed condition is immune to this feature.

On a failed save, you glimpse the desire, fear, shame, or ambition closest to the surface of the target’s mind. For 1 minute, the target is Unmasked. While Unmasked, the target subtracts your Wisdom modifier from the first saving throw it makes each round.
In addition, once per turn when you or one of your allies hits the Unmasked target with an attack, the attack deals extra Psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

The target can repeat the Wisdom saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The effect also ends early if you are Incapacitated or if you use this Channel Divinity again.

Level 6: Chains of Silk

When a creature you can see within 30 feet of yourself makes a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can use your Reaction to influence the roll. You must do so before the roll is made.

Choose one of the following effects:

The creature gains a bonus to the saving throw equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Or:

The creature takes a penalty to the saving throw equal to your Wisdom modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Sovereign Mind

Your devotion teaches you that your will must never be enslaved. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Potent Spellcasting

You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Level 17: The Beautiful Tyranny

As a Magic action, you unveil the terrible force of your presence for 1 minute. For the duration, creatures of your choice within 30 feet of yourself have Disadvantage on saving throws against your Enchantment and Illusion spells.

In addition, when a creature fails a saving throw against one of your Enchantment or Illusion spells, you can choose to charm or frighten that creature until the end of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
