Base Class: Monk
Monks who live on a secret, Sacred Summit where there is a mysterious energy called the Icejade. Through rigorous training, the monks practice sword-arts and are able to channel the Icejade into swords by projecting their Souls.
Swordsoul Channeling
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in glaives, longswords, and scimitars and these are considered monk weapons for you. At the end of a long rest, you can touch one nonmagical object that is a monk weapon for you. Until the end of your next long rest or until you die, the object becomes a magic item, granting a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
Floating Blade Technique
Starting at 6th level, you can enchant a monk weapon and can control it from a distance. Your attacks with monk weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. Additionally, as a bonus action, you can magically release a monk weapon you are holding to hover within 5 feet of you. If you can see the weapon, you can mentally command it as a bonus action to fly up to 30 feet and either make one attack against a target or return to your hands. If the hovering weapon is targeted by any effect, you are considered to be holding it. The hovering weapon falls if you die.
Perfect Control
When you reach 11th level, your Floating Blade Technique can now be used on up to three different monk weapons. When you take a bonus action to command a hovering weapon, you choose one to command, and can command it to fly up to 60 feet instead of 30 feet.
Swordsoul Grandmastery
Starting at 17th level, you have mastered the art of Swordsoul Channeling. When you make an attack with a monk weapon, you can expend 8 ki points to extend your reach with it to 20 feet, gain a +6 bonus to the attack roll and deal an additional 3d6 acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or thunder damage on a hit.
