Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

"His Majesty's Hongyuan converges with your vision for Hongyuan at its culmination, young Miss."

The Wu Branch's Bolus Mutations are very unique, as substantial mutation can lead to the Bolus user gaining the ability to shift between their normal form and a Centaur-eques form. Most Bolus Mutations also gives the user a durable Exoskeleton.
The Wu Branch is used during Sieges as Calvary, breaking through the line as durable, speedy combatants.

Adept Vanguard - Level 3

"I intend to realize your dream that has failed to bloom, though his path be riddled with bloodshed. Thus, Young Miss… please… never forgive this wretched guard of yours."

Obsidian Exoskeleton
At the start of each of your turns, you gain (Proficiency bonus x 5) Temporary hit points. Gaining Temporary hit Points through this feature replaces the Temporary hit points gained on your previous turn through this feature.
At 15th level, the temporary hit points granted by this feature increase to your Proficiency Bonus × 10.

Heishou Bolus Mutation - Wu Branch
As a bonus action, you can shift between your regular form and your Bolus Mutation Form. While in the Bolus Mutation Form, you gain the following benefits:

Your size increases to 'Large' if it was Medium or Smaller.
Your movement speed increases by 20 feet.

If you move at least 30 feet in a continuous straight line immediately toward a creature and then hit that creature with a melee weapon attack during the same turn, the attack deals an additional 2d6 piercing damage.

Creatures of size Medium or smaller you choose can mount you as if you were a Warhorse. A creature mounted on you gains the benefits of the Mounted Combatant feat while mounted on you, even if it does not have the feat.
Your unarmed strikes deal 2d6 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage instead of their normal damage.

For the purpose of prerequisites and effects that require you to be mounted, you count as mounted while in your Bolus Mutation Form. You do not gain the benefits of being mounted unless a feature specifically grants them to you.
You ignore difficult terrain caused by unstable ground or any other terrain that the DM determines would be easier to traverse with four legs.

Your armor reshapes itself to accommodate your transformed body. While transformed, you cannot add your Dexterity modifier to your Armor Class from wearing Light Armor. While wearing Medium Armor, you can add a maximum of +1 to your Armor Class from your Dexterity modifier, instead of the normal maximum of +2
When exiting your Bolus Mutation Form, any creature that is currently mounting you stops mounting you and is placed in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you.
If you become unconscious, your Bolus Mutation Form automatically ends.

Preparation Afore the Charge - Level 7

"His Majesty promises Hongyuan's rectification, yet… hard do I find to harbor trust in one bereft of faith in humanity, one who sees naught but evil in the nature of men."

Cut Down and Trample
While in your Bolus Mutation Form, you can move through the spaces of Medium or smaller creatures as if those spaces were difficult terrain.
If you move through the space of a prone creature, you can make two unarmed strikes against that creature as part of that movement. This can happen once per creature per round.
At level 15, you make 3 unarmed strikes instead.

Obsidian Strider
When you enter your Bolus Mutation Form, and when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points while in your Bolus Mutation Form, you gain 3 stacks of 'Strider - [Wu]'. Strider - [Wu] has a maximum stack of 3.

While you have Strider - [Wu], when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike, the creature must make a DC (8 + proficiency bonus + strength modifier) strength saving throw or be knocked prone. A creature can be forced to make only one saving throw from this feature per turn
When you enter the space of a Medium or smaller creature while moving through it, that creature must make the saving throw with disadvantage. If it fails this saving throw, you can make one unarmed strike against it as part of the same movement.

Your Strider - [Wu] stacks decrease by 1 at the end of your turn. You lose all remaining Strider - [Wu] stacks when you leave your Bolus Mutation Form.

Rend and Protect - Level 10

"Ride, beating of hooves. Rise, grains of sand. Ring, cries of war. Rest, for your flight shall meet a dead end."

Ironsteed Trample
The First time you hit with a Melee weapon attack each round, and the first time you hit with a unarmed strike each round, you deal additional force damage equal to half the temporary hit points you currently have.
If the creature is Prone, you instead deal additional force damage equal to the Temporary Hit Points you currently have.

Vanguard
When a creature within 5 feet of you (10 feet while in your Bolus Mutation Form) is targeted by an attack, you can cause yourself to become the target of that attack instead. You do so without using your reaction.
If an attack you redirect to yourself causes you to lose all of your Temporary Hit Points, you gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls until the end of your next turn. The Temporary Hit Points replacement at the start of your turn does not trigger the attack roll bonus from this feature.

Unbridled Steed - Level 15

"Cometh the victorious news, yet the elation is not for steeds; calibrate your happiness. For we shall be deployed to another battlefield ere long."

Trample and Decapitate
While attacking a Prone creature, you score a Critical Hit on a roll of 19 or 20. When you score a critical hit, you deal additional damage equal to twice the number of your Strider - [Wu] stacks. This additional damage is not doubled as part of the critical hit.

Cavalry's Vanguard Charge
Your movement speed while in your Bolus Mutation Form increases by an additional 10 feet. Moving through the space of a medium or smaller creature no longer acts as difficult terrain.
When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you gain 1 stack of Linebreaker. For every 2 stacks of Linebreaker you have, your Armor Class increases by 1. Linebreaker has a maximum stack of 6.
You lose all stacks of Linebreaker when combat ends.

Obsidian Stormrider - Level 18

"Leap upon the first, And the second. Break and surmount them, Thrice overcome."
"Overcome innumerability itself, Break and surmount them all!"

Heishou Bolus Contamination - Wu Branch
When you are given an Exalted Command through the Lord of the Heishou subclass' level 18 feature 'Answer me, Heishou Packs', the Lord that gave the Command gains the following bonus until combat ends:
"Whenever the Lord hits a Prone creature with an attack, that creature gains 1 stack of Deathrite - [Wane]"
The Bolus Contamination bonus only applies to the Lord that gave the Command, and not you.

Obsidian Stormrider's Crescent Decapitator
While you have 6 Linebreaker stacks, you can use an action to expend all Linebreaker and use the following special attack:

Obsidian Stormrider's Crescent Decapitator:
Make 4 melee weapon attacks, targeting up to 3 creatures within 15 feet of you with each attack. A creature can be targeted by multiple attacks from this feature.
On a hit with each attack made through this feature, the creature must make a Strength saving throw, being knocked prone on a failure. If a creature is already prone when hit, they take 2d8 additional bludgeoning damage.
After resolving all four attacks, each creature hit by this feature gains a number of Deathrite - [Halt] stacks equal to the number of attacks from this feature that hit it. If a creature was hit while prone at least twice by this feature, they become stunned until the end of their next turn.
After using this feature, all allies within 50 feet of you gain 'Commanding Cry' until the end of their turn. Creatures with Commanding Cry gain a +1 to their Armor Class, Attack Rolls, and Damage Rolls.

Creatures with Deathrite - [Halt] lose 10 feet of movement for each stack. When a creature with Deathrite - [Halt] is knocked prone, they take (stack)d6 force damage, and then they lose 1 stack of Deathrite - [Halt]. When a creature loses all stacks of Deathrite - [Halt], they must make a Strength Saving throw, becoming prone on a failure.
A creature's movement speed can't be reduced below 0 by this effect.
A creature with Deathrite - [Halt] loses 1 stack at the end of its turn.
