Base Class: Bard
Wolves of the Pack of the Spirit share a mysterious connection with those who walked the frozen wilds before them. Their howls reach beyond the living world, carrying through snow, wind, and darkness to awaken the echoes of ancient wolves whose spirits still roam the tundra.
These spectral packmates are not servants, but companions and guardians. They answer the wolf's call to protect allies, guide those who have lost their way, and lend their strength when the living pack faces danger. At times, their ghostly forms can be glimpsed running alongside the wolf or watching silently through the falling snow.
As the wolf's bond with the spirit world grows stronger, so too does her ability to call upon the ancient pack. What begins as faint whispers and fleeting spectral shapes can eventually become powerful manifestations of the wolves who came before.
For a member of the Pack of the Spirit, no packmate is ever truly forgotten. Their memories live within every howl, and when the living call for aid, the spirits may answer.
👻 Spirit Howl
When the wolf uses Inspiring Howl (Bardic Inspiration), she can call upon the spirits of her ancient pack.
The creature that receives the Bardic Inspiration also gains temporary hit points equal to the wolf's Charisma modifier.
For her currently:
Temporary HP: 4
🐺 Ancestral Pack
As an action, the wolf summons a spectral wolf spirit to aid an ally she can see within 30 feet.
Choose one effect:
🛡️ Guardian Spirit — The ally gains +2 AC until the start of the wolf's next turn.
🦷 Hunter Spirit — The ally gains advantage on their next attack roll before the start of the wolf's next turn.
🐾 Guiding Spirit — The ally can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Uses: 2 per Long Rest
👁️ Spirit Sight
The wolf's connection to the spirit world allows her to sense things that others may overlook.
She has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks made to notice spirits, ghosts or incorporeal undead.
This ability does not automatically reveal what the creature is or its true nature.
