Monk
Base Class: Monk

"In the quiet stillness of the realms, those who attune themselves to the Weave find balance in mind, body, and soul. With the discipline of a monk and the insight of the arcane, Light Side Weave Warriors move with the certainty of destiny, their actions a reflection of the greater cosmic will."

Monks who follow the Light Side of The Weave channel the unseen energy that flows through all living things. Whether in the midst of battle or deep in meditation, these monks learn to harmonize with the Weave, guiding their strikes, deflecting harm, and empowering their spirits with the wisdom of ages. With the serene focus of a true master, they see through the chaos of combat, turning the tide with grace and precision, all while seeking peace amidst the storm. To them, the Weave is not merely a weapon—it is the path to enlightenment, and their journey is one of both self-discovery and universal balance.

Level 3: Light Side Weave Arts

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, choose two of three spells below. You can cast them as a magic action by spending focus points equal to the spell level. They use your wisdom modifier for your spellcasting and require no material components to cast. You can only use the subclass abilities if you are good aligned.

Initiate Weave Push
As a magic action you can spend 1 Focus Point to cast Thunderwave.

Weave Mind Trick
As a magic action you can spend 2 Focus Points to cast Suggestion.

Initiate Weave Stabilization
As a magic action you can spend 2 Focus Points to cast Lesser Restoration.

Additionally, you gain the Mage Hand cantrip if you don’t already know it. You can cast it without verbal components and you can make the spectral hand invisible.

Level 6: Light Side Weave Technique

At 6th Level, your connection to the light side of the weave has strengthened with the Weave flowing through you. Some of your Base Monk Abilities have been altered due to this connection.

Your "Flurry of Blows" ability changes and can now be done with a held longsword, shortsword, or any weapon with a kybaria crystal but cannot use unarmed monk die for unarmed attacks when wielding one.

Your "Deflect Attacks" ability now allows you take no damage from magic missile or eldritch blast and automatically reflects all darts or blasts back to the caster, automatically hitting them.

Additionally, you can choose one of two new spells to learn when reaching this level to stop misuse of the weave.

Weave Disruption
As a reaction you can spend 3 Focus Points to cast Counterspell.

Weave Silencing
As a magic action you can spend 3 Focus Points to cast Dispel Magic.

Level 11: Light Side Weave Connection

By 11th level, you have learned to call upon the light side of the weave to aid you as you meditate. As a magic action, you can cast Detect Magic at will.

Additionally, your Weave Push and Weave Stabilization can be more effective if you spend 5 Focus Points on either ability.

Knight Weave Push
As a magic action you can spend 5 focus points to cast Destructive Wave instead.

Knight Weave Stabilization
As a magic action you can spend 5 focus points to cast Greater Restoration instead.

Level 17: Light Side Weave Master

At 17th Level, your connection to the light side of the weave is complete, allowing you to unleash your full potential. Your monk abilities are further augmented and some even altered.

When you take the Dodge Action, you can activate your "Deflect Attack" ability as many times as your wisdom modifier until the start of your next turn if you are equipped with a longsword, shortsword, or weapon with a kybaria crystal you are proficient with.

Your "Deflect Attack/Deflect Energy" ability now let's you also deflect and reflect back magical spell attacks and, if you reduce the damage to 0, reflect them back at the caster. The reflected damage type and effect being that appropriate to the spell (Guiding Bolt would deal radiant damage upon being reflected). You can spend additional focus points equal to the spell's level to not need to reduce the damage to 0 to reflect the spell attack back at the caster.

One With The Weave
As a magic action you can spend 5 focus points to cast the spell Telekinesis.

Weave Healing
Your most powerful technique though is the ultimate representation of your good nature. As a magic action you can spend 9 focus points to cast the spell Power Word Heal.

Finally, once per round, you restore Focus Points Equal to your Proficiency if you only took the Dodge Action and spent no Focus Points for your turn. You can do this as many times as your proficiency modifier per long rest. Taking a bonus action will prevent Focus Point recovery, though you can still react with your "Deflect Attack/Deflect Energy" ability.
