Bard
Base Class: Bard

Some are lucky, others are not. Yet some make their own luck. Those who master the art of Fateweaving can manipulate the probability of the universe, subtly steering it to reward those who side with them and punish those who side against. The lucky and unlucky alike have the Fateweaver to blame for their fortune.

Fate's Fortune

The College of fate at the 3rd Level grants you a few bonuses, you have found that you are surprisingly good at games of chance. You gain proficiency with Deception, Performance and Sleight of Hand or expertise if you are already proficient. You additionally gain expertise in 2 gaming sets.

Twisting Fate

Bards belonging to this college also gain an ability that allows for either the best or the worst of outcomes to appear with greater consistency. Whenever a creature you can see that is within 30 feet of you rolls a d20, you may use your reaction and expend a use of your bardic inspiration to impose one of the following effects:

Weal. The creature must roll your Bardic Inspiration die. On the result of a 6 or higher, the creature acts as if they had rolled a natural 20 on the d20 roll. Otherwise, the creature uses their d20 roll.

Woe. The creature must roll your Bardic Inspiration die. On the result of a 6 or higher, the creature acts as if they had rolled a natural 1 on the d20 roll. Otherwise, the creature uses their d20 roll.

This feature must be used before a creature makes a d20 roll. the threshold for this feature expands at higher levels: At level 12 triggering on a 5 or higher. At level 17 triggering on a 4 or higher.

Dead Man's Gambit

At 6th level, you gain the ability to delay the inevitable. As a reaction when a Creature within 30 ft. of you drops to 0 hit points you can allow them to play the Dead Man's Gambit. The creature may choose to skip their death saving throw for up to 3 turns or until combat ends. They must then flip a coin: if heads they revive and regain all the benefits of a long rest. However, if tails they die with no chance of revival by any means along with casting the spell toll the dead in a 120ft emanation around their corpse as it is destroyed.

you may only do this once per long rest

Fateweaver

Upon reaching the 14th level in their class, Bards belonging to the College of Fate have achieved the pinnacle of their power: being able to change reality itself. As an action, you can undo a single recent event by forcing a reroll of any roll made within the last round (up to (but excluding) your last turn). Reality reshapes itself to accommodate the new result.

For example, this effect could undo an opponent's successful save, a foe's critical hit, or a friend's failed save. Once the roll has been made, you can choose whether to use the reroll or the original roll.

Once you have used this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest
