Dragon Ancestry

You have draconic ancestry. When you select the Path of Dragon’s Fury at 3rd level, choose one type of dragon from the Dragon Ancestry table. This determines the damage type used in your other Dragon’s Fury abilities, as shown in the table.

Additionally, you learn how to speak, read and write Draconic or one other language of your choice if you already know Draconic.

Draconic Rage

Starting at 3rd level, you draw power from your dragon ancestry when you rage, causing you to appear to transform into a spectral humanoid dragon resembling your Dragon Ancestry.

While raging, you gain the following benefits:

- You have resistance to the damage type associated with your Dragon Ancestry.

- When you hit an enemy for the first time on your turn, you can infuse the attack with destructive energy. Select up to two other creatures within 5ft of the original attack target. If the attack roll you made against the original target would hit the other creatures, the destructive energy cascades into them, dealing additional damage to them. This damage is equal to 1d4 + one third of your Barbarian level (rounded up) if you chose two targets, 1d6 + half your Barbarian level (rounded up) if you chose one target, or 1d8 + your Barbarian level if you chose no additional targets. This additional damage is the type associated with your Dragon Ancestry.

Dragon Scales

From 6th level, you gain permanent protective scales over your body. While raging and under the benefits of the unarmoured defence feature, you can add your Rage Damage Bonus to your Armour Class. While you aren’t raging, but under the benefits of the unarmoured defence feature, this bonus is halved (rounded up).

Dragon Scales

From 9th level, the passive bonus to unarmoured AC from the Dragon Scales feature increases to +2.

Dragon Roar

Starting from 10th level, you can roar like a dragon while raging. While raging, you can use your action on your turn to roar like a dragon, causing all hostile creatures within a 20ft radius of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save a creature becomes frightened of you until your rage ends or they lose line of sight of you. On a successful save a creature is immune to this ability for 1 minute.

If a hostile creature has to make a save due to this ability, you count as having made an attack against a hostile creature this turn for the purposes of keeping up rage, regardless of that creature's save outcome.

You gain one free use of this feature each time you enter rage and can expend another use of rage to use it again during the same rage.

Dragon Fury

From 14th level, your connection to your dragon ancestry intensifies, allowing you to gain additional benefits during a rage. When you enter rage, you can choose one of the following features and gain its benefits for the duration of that rage.

You may expend additional uses of rage when entering rage to gain additional features at a cost of one use per feature.

Claw - Your reach increases by 5ft and all your attacks are classed as magical for the purposes of resistances and immunities.

Scale - Your scales harden and you gain immunity to the damage type associated with your Dragon Ancestry.

Wing - You sprout a pair of dragon wings and gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
