Horizon Walker Overhaul

*insert horizon walker lore*

Level 3: Planar Connection

Detect Portal:

You gain the ability to magically sense the presence of a planar portal. As an action, you detect the distance and direction to the closest planar portal within 1 mile of you.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

See the "Planar Travel" section in chapter 2 of the Dungeon Master's Guide for examples of planar portals.

Planar Leap:

You may step between planes to reach far distances in an instant. As a bonus action, you may teleport to a point you can see within 30 feet. You may do this a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per long rest. The range of your leap increases  to 45 feet wt 7th level, 60 feet at 11th, and 120 feet at 15th.

Planar Embodiment

Evasive Leap:

You have found safety in the planes you travel. When hit by an enemy attack, you can use a reaction to roll a d20. On a 10 or above you take half damage. On an 18 or above you fully escape into the ethereal plane, avoiding all damage. You cannot be targeted by attacks until the start of your next turn. You may do this a number times equal to your Wisdom Modifier per long rest.

Planar infusion

With every leap, you channel the very energy of the planes, imbuing your attacks. When you expend a use of your Planar Leap, choose acid, fire, cold, lightning, psychic, necrotic, or radiant. You may add 3d8 of the chosen damage type to every weapon attack until end of turn. This damage goes up by 1d8 at 15th and 20th level.

One With The Great Circle

Superior Detection:

You can always pinpoint the exact location of the closest planar portal.

Planar Opening:

As an action you can open a portal to a plane of your choosing. It is no bigger than 10 feet in diameter and can last a number of hours equal to your wisdom score or you can close it using an additional action. You can do this only once per dawn.
