Base Class: Monk
Warriors of The Stars are Monks who specialize in an array of techniques relating to constellations and stars. These are a range of 12 separate combat techniques, all based around the major astrological constellations. The most experienced of these monks can access all 12, along with 2 at the same time. These Monks also rarely, if ever, get lost, as their bodies can behave as natural compasses. Those who reach the pinnacle may even touch the stars themselves.
Level 3: Constellation Technique
You learn access to the first four Constellation Techniques. These techniques either require a bonus action to activate for 10 minutes, or can be used actively. Only one technique can be used at a time. Those which are actions are marked with an (a) and those with a duration are marked with a (d). These are as follows:
- Aquarius: You gain underwater breathing, resistance to cold damage, and a swim speed equal to your speed. (d)
- Pisces: You can expend 1 focus points to cast warding bond on an ally without expending a spell slot.(a)
- Aries: You are unable to be moved against your will, and have advantage on saving throws against being knocked prone.(d)
- Taurus: You may use an action to charge at a creature, dealing damage equal to three rolls of your martial arts die, and forcing them to make a dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. (a)
Additionally, your body can act as a natural compass, and you always know which direction North is.
Level 6: Essence of the Stars
You gain access to the next 4 Constellation techniques, and your fists will be infused with the element of the Constellation, adding bonus damage depending on the element. The elements are:
- Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 fire damage
- Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): Your strikes deal an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage
- Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 piercing damage
- Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 cold damage.
The techniques you gain access to are:
- Gemini: You get an additional attack from your flurry of blows by expending an additional focus point. (a)
- Cancer: You may use a reaction to spend a focus point to gain 3 armor class. This can cause attacks to miss. (a)
- Leo: You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened, and you can add your strength modifier to your damage while active. (d)
- Virgo: You may add your wisdom modifier to charisma checks, and have advantage on saving throws against being charmed (d)
Level 11: Completed Constellations
You learn the final 4 Constellation techniques, and your damage bonus from the element of your technique has been increased to 1d6.
- Libra: You can spend a focus point as a reaction to either remove an enemies advantage, or remove your own disadvantage. (a)
- Scorpio: Your unarmed strikes have a range of 10 feet, and deal an additional 1d6 poison damage. (d)
- Sagittarius: Your unarmed strikes shoot arrows made of air which deal piercing damage equal to a roll of your martial arts die. These arrows have a range of 30 feet. (d)
- Capricorn: You may add your wisdom modifier to your unarmed attack rolls and damage rolls. (d)
Level 17: Master of The Twelve
Having mastered the original twelve Constellation Techniques, you can now access two of them at once. You can choose one Constellation per day that has a duration to activate until you choose another one, or until your next long rest, and you can change this selection on a long or short rest. You can only have one of these activated at a time. Additionally you gain a flying speed equal to your speed, and can hover.
