Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sorcerers of the Primal Heart carry an innate connection to druidic magic. Whether your great ancestor was an archdruid, your parents were cursed by an archfey, or you carry primordial power in your bloodline, you can wield the might of the natural world to immense effect.

Features by Level:

  • Level 3: Primal Magic, Primal Heart Spells
  • Level 6: Aspect of the Wild
  • Level 14: Sylvan Ally
  • Level 18: Wilderness Incarnate

Level 3: Primal Magic

You can learn spells from the Druid spell list whenever you learn new spells, treating them as Sorcerer spells. When you initially gain this feature, you can replace any of the Sorcerer spells you already knew with spells from the Druid spell list.
In addition, choose two of the following Primal Orders, gaining the listed benefits for your Orders.

Beasthide Order

As a member of the Beasthide Order, while unarmored, your armor class equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier.

Longtooth Order

As a member of the Longtooth Order, you gain a Rend unarmed attack that deals 2d4 Slashing damage on a hit. This damage increases to 3d4 at level 5 and 4d4 at level 11. This attack counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances, and uses your Wisdom for damage and attack rolls.

Swiftstride Order

As a member of the Swiftstride Order, your walking speed increases by 5 feet.

Wildhunt Order

As a member of the Wildhunt Order, you can speak to and understand the speech of Beasts and Plants. A plant or animal's intelligence may be limited, and depending on it's Intelligence score it may only be able to communicate and understand simple concepts.

Level 3: Primal Heart Spells

When you reach a Sorcerer level specified in the Primal Heart Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
Primal Heart Spells
Sorcerer Level Spells
3 Animal Friendship, Healing Word, Locate Animals or Plants, Pass without Trace
5 Conjure Animals, Plant Growth
7 Conjure Woodland Beings, Dominate Beast
9 Awaken, Commune with Nature

Level 6: Aspect of the Wilds

While under the effects of your Innate Sorcery, you temporarily take on a more bestial or plant-like form. When you activate your Innate Sorcery, choose a form, animal or plant. You gain the following benefits for the duration of your Innate Sorcery.

Animal. When you cast a spell that deals damage, you add your Charisma modifier to the damage.
Plant. You gain Temporary Hit Points equal to two times your Charisma modifier.

Level 14: Sylvan Ally

You can cast Summon Animal once without a spell slot as a 5th level spell, regaining the ability to do so upon a Long Rest. When you cast it in this way, the spell requires no concentration and no material components.

Level 18: Wilderness Incarnate

Once per week, you can cast the spell Shapechange without a spell slot.
