Base Class: Fighter
The Invincible is a fighter who has trained past the point where pain still matters. Other warriors learn to dodge, parry, and endure. An Invincible learns to remain standing when endurance should have failed: poison finds no hold, disease withers on contact, and blows that would drop a lesser fighter register as inconveniences.
Unbreakable Body
3rd-level Invincible feature
Your hit point maximum increases by 15 and increase by 5 for every level you have in fighter you have.
You are immune to disease and being poisoned. You are immune to critical hits; an attack roll that would score a critical hit against you is instead a normal hit.
You are immune to any effect that doesn’t require an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, unless you wish to be affected by it. Immunities you have can’t be bypassed or ignored.
Refuse the Blow
3rd-level Invincible feature
When you are forced to make a saving throw, or when an attack roll is made against you, you can use your reaction to brace until the end of your next turn. For that duration, you have resistance to all damage, and you add your Constitution modifier to one of the following, chosen when you take the reaction: your AC, or each saving throw you make.
If you succeed on a saving throw against an effect, you are unaffected by that effect, even if a successful save would normally impose a partial effect. Resistances you have can’t be bypassed or ignored.
Unyielding
7th-level Invincible feature
While you are braced by Refuse the Blow, you have advantage on saving throws.
If a damage roll against you shows the maximum result on every die, that roll is rerolled until it does not. You can’t be prevented from regaining hit points, and your hit point maximum can’t be reduced.
Once per long rest, when your hit points are reduced to half your hit point maximum or lower, you gain temporary hit points equal to your missing hit points. These temporary hit points last until you finish a long rest. Starting at 18th level, you instead gain temporary hit points equal to twice your missing hit points.
Absolute Resistance
10th-level Invincible feature
You have resistance to all damage. While you are braced by Refuse the Blow, any damage you take is halved again after resistances and other modifiers are applied.
You gain proficiency in all saving throws.
Denied in Full
15th-level Invincible feature
When you would take damage, roll that damage a second time after any rerolls required by Unyielding. Reduce the damage you take by the total of that second roll, to a minimum of 0.
Apex
18th-level Invincible feature
Your Constitution score increases by 10, and your Constitution maximum becomes 30.
You no longer age, you can’t be aged by any effect, and you can’t die of old age. You are immune to exhaustion.
