Base Class: Artificer
You tinker and mess with things often, using your general creativity and curiosity to inspect everyday things and innovate powerful items using them. Those who fall too deep in the obsession become living factories of their own creation.
Scavenger
You can use your magical tinkering on various items found in nature. If you lack the tools for specific builds, you can use what you scavenged from nature to make the tools. You have proficiency in survival, nature, and investigation checks. You also have proficiency in an artisan's tools of your choice.
Deck of Many Prototypes
You can sketch various ideas in your book, a spell book of sorts. This allows you to choose various constructs to build at later times.
At level 3, you gain 2 sketches of summonable constructs with a challenge rating of 1/4 or less. At level 6, you gain 3 sketches of summonable constructs with a challenge rating of 1/2 or less. At level 9, you gain 4 sketches of summonable constructs with a challenge rating of 1 or less. At level 12, you gain 4 sketches of summonable constructs with a challenge rating of 2 or less. At level 15, you gain 5 sketches of summonable constructs with a challenge rating of 3 or less.
You can only have one summoned at a time, and you gain as many uses as you have sketches per long rest.
Basic Conveyor
You now have a basic conveyor belt. This allows you to use artificer infusions at the end of short rests.
Nature's Factory
Your ability to build with natural tools has improved: when using tools you're proficient in, you have advantage and you have twice proficiency on improvised weapons. When failing a saving throw, you can manufacture a construct as a reaction.
Tank of Stone and Vine
Once per long rest, you can take the form of a construct with a challenge rating of 5 or less. While in the form you can still use your spells, unlike wild shape.
