Base Class: Monk
Way of Star Platinum
"Yare Yare Daze."
Monks who follow the Way of Star Platinum awaken a powerful spiritual manifestation of their fighting spirit known as a Stand.
Star Platinum appears as a muscular, humanoid guardian that fights alongside its user. It possesses incredible strength, superhuman speed, extraordinary precision, and the ability to manipulate time.
Unlike conventional martial artists, these Monks channel their Focus Points into supernatural Stand techniques.
Level 3 — Stand Manifestation
You awaken Star Platinum, a supernatural guardian that manifests within 10 feet of you.
-
Stand Reach: Your Unarmed Strikes have a reach of 10 feet during your turn.
-
Spiritual Strikes: You can deal Force damage instead of Bludgeoning damage with your Unarmed Strikes.
-
Invisible Guardian: Star Platinum is invisible to ordinary creatures unless they can perceive invisible beings or spirits, at the Dungeon Master's discretion.
-
Precision: When you miss with an Unarmed Strike, you can spend 1 Focus Point to add 1d4 to the attack roll, potentially turning the miss into a hit.
Star Platinum is a manifestation of your power, not a separate creature. It has no independent actions or Hit Points.
Level 3 — ORA ORA Barrage
When you use Flurry of Blows, Star Platinum unleashes a barrage of supernatural punches.
Once per turn, you can deal extra Force damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die to a creature hit by one of your Flurry of Blows attacks.
This ability requires no additional Focus Points beyond the normal cost of Flurry of Blows.
Level 6 — Star Finger
You learn to extend Star Platinum's fingers into a deadly piercing attack.
As a Magic action, expend 2 Focus Points to make one special melee attack against a creature within 30 feet. The attack uses your Dexterity modifier and proficiency bonus.
On a hit, the target takes Force damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die plus your Dexterity modifier.
Level 6 — Superhuman Perception
Star Platinum's incredible precision grants you superior awareness.
You have Advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks involving fine visual details or fast-moving objects.
When you roll Initiative, you can expend 1 Focus Point to gain Advantage on that roll.
Level 11 — Star Platinum: The World
"STAR PLATINUM: THE WORLD!"
You learn to briefly stop time.
As a Bonus Action, expend 4 Focus Points to stop time around yourself. You immediately gain one additional action during your current turn.
You can use this additional action to Dash, Disengage, take the Utilize action, or make one Unarmed Strike.
Your movement does not provoke Opportunity Attacks for the remainder of the turn.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
Level 17 — Master of Stopped Time
Your mastery over Star Platinum reaches its peak.
When you activate Star Platinum: The World, you can expend 6 Focus Points instead of 4 to gain an entire additional turn immediately after your current turn.
During this additional turn, other creatures cannot take actions or Reactions.
You can use this feature only once per Long Rest, sharing the use limit of Star Platinum: The World.
