Amazon

Amazons are legendary female warriors whose martial skill is inseparable from their captivating presence. Drawing on mythic traditions of warrior women who lead, inspire, and dominate, they turn beauty, charisma, and insight into weapons. Non-female foes and those attracted to them find it difficult to resist or even effectively oppose an Amazon and her sister warriors.

Restriction: Females Only

Only female characters can follow the Martial Archetype of the Amazon. Amazons fill a particular niche in myth, culture, and legend as elite female warriors.

Amazon's Presence

3rd-level Amazon feature

You radiate an aura of captivating beauty and commanding presence. The aura’s radius is 30 feet and increases as you gain levels in this class (60 feet at 7th level, 90 feet at 15th level, and 120 feet at 18th level). Allied female creatures within the aura gain the benefits of this feature and all later Amazon features (as applicable).

You and affected allies gain the following benefits:

• Expertise. You have expertise in all Charisma checks and all Insight checks (your proficiency bonus is doubled for them).
• Alluring Checks. You have advantage on Charisma checks against creatures attracted to you and against creatures that are not female. You also have advantage on Insight, Persuasion and Performance checks against female creatures. If the creature is attracted to you, you gain a +10 bonus to the roll.
• Unmarred Beauty. You are immune to being charmed, immune to disease, and immune to critical hits from creatures attracted to you and from creatures that are not female. You are also immune to effects that would damage, reduce, or otherwise impair your beauty (including disfiguring magic, appearance-based aging, or abilities that reduce your Charisma score through appearance).
• Amazon’s Defense. While you are not wearing armor, your Armor Class equals 17 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
• Captivating Counter. When a creature attracted to you or a creature that is not female makes an attack roll, you can use your reaction to add +5 to your Armor Class against that attack. If the creature is attracted to you, you instead add +10. If the creature is within the reach of a weapon you are wielding, you can then make one weapon attack against it with advantage. If that attack misses, the creature is charmed by you until the end of your next turn.
• Irresistible Charm. Creatures attracted to you cannot benefit from immunity to being charmed by you.
• Charmed Precision. You can add your Charisma modifier to the attack rolls and damage rolls of your weapon attacks against creatures charmed by you.

Enchanting Supremacy

7th-level Amazon feature

Your presence grows more overpowering.

• You can add your Charisma modifier to your Armor Class.
• Creatures attracted to you and creatures that are not female have disadvantage on saving throws, attack rolls, and ability checks against you.
• You can add your Charisma modifier to saving throws against effects originating from creatures attracted to you or creatures that are not female. If the creature is attracted to you, you also have advantage on the saving throw.
• Your weapon attacks against creatures attracted to you or creatures that are not female score a critical hit on a roll of 18–20. If the creature is attracted to you, this expands to a roll of 17–20.

Queen’s Dominion

10th-level Amazon feature

You exert greater control over the battlefield against your favored foes.

• When you score a critical hit against a creature attracted to you or a creature that is not female, the damage of that attack is doubled.
• Creatures attracted to you and creatures that are not female are unable to use their reactions against you unless you allow it. If the creature is attracted to you, it is also unable to use legendary actions or legendary resistances against you unless you allow it.
• When a creature attracted to you or a creature that is not female makes an attack roll against you or forces you to make a saving throw, the creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or the attack or effect fails. If the creature is attracted to you and fails the save, it is also charmed by you for 2 rounds.

Sisterhood’s Might

15th-level Amazon feature

Your bond with other women strengthens your power.

• Creatures attracted to you and creatures that are not female gain a penalty to ability checks and saving throws against you equal to your Charisma modifier.
• When a female allied creature within your Amazon's Presence aura damages a creature that is an enemy of yours, you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt. These temporary hit points last for 2 rounds.

Amazon Empress

18th-level Amazon feature

You transcend ordinary limits.

• You no longer age, cannot be magically aged, and cannot die of old age.
• While there is an allied female creature other than yourself within your Amazon's Presence aura, you are resistant to all damage. In addition, damage dealt to you by creatures attracted to you or creatures that are not female is halved (this stacks with resistance), and you have advantage on all attack rolls.
