Base Class: Sorcerer
"Hearken to me, ye who have sinned… The lot of those who have sinned… is to submit to the order and law as ordained…"
The Grand Magasin Sisyphe, the maximum security Prison made by the Nagel Und Hammer Corporation, has 4 'Giants' that govern each Faction within the Prison. You, through some way or another, have gained access to the powers of the Chaplin, the Giant of Le Noir.
As the name suggests, this subclass is intended to be stronger than the average Sorcerer Subclass. Always check with your DM Before using Homebrew!
Warden of the Sisyphe Penalty - Level 3
"A day is as a thousand years... a thousand years as a day. O transgressor, reckon thou eternity, and repent thee of thy sins."
G.M.S. Administrator Panel
Unlike other spell casters, instead of chanting or complex hand signs, you only need to input certain Codes into the Grand Magasin Sisyphe Administrator Panel to cast spells, a translucent panel that only you can see. You gain the following benefits because of this:
- You don't need to speak to provide the Verbal components of spells. However, the Panel produces audible typing sounds when you cast a spell that has a Verbal component. If you use the Subtle Spell Metamagic option, these sounds are muted.
- You need only one free hand to operate the Panel when providing Somatic components.
- The Panel supplies Material components that have no listed monetary cost. For Material components with a listed monetary cost, you need only provide components worth half the listed amount.
- Other creatures cannot tell what spell you are casting, as only you know the Codes for each spell.
Additionally, you can expend Sorcery Points as a bonus action to activate unique effects through the Administrator Panel, with you gaining new options as you progress in this subclass:
- Char.State(Regenerate); Costs 2 Sorcery Points. Select one creature within 40 feet of you. You heal the selected creature for (Your proficiency bonus/2)d6 hit points.
- Char.State(Restore); Costs 4 Sorcery Points. Select one creature within 40 feet of you. You restore the target's hit points to the number it had at the start of its most recent turn. This doesn't reverse conditions, resource expenditure, or other effects, and it can't restore a dead creature to life.
evert the chosen creature's hit points to the value they were at during the start of their previous turn.
- Char.Status(Apply_Nail[Confession]); Costs 2 Sorcery Points. Select one creature within 40 feet of you. The selected creature must make a Constitution Saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failure, the creature takes 2d8 Radiant damage and is 'Nailed' until the end of your next turn. On a success, the creature takes 1d6 Radiant damage instead, and the creature is not Nailed.
While a creature is Nailed by this command, its speed is 0. If it would be moved against its will by a physical force, it instead remains in place and takes 2d4 radiant damage for every 5 feet it would have moved, or fraction thereof. This damage doesn't apply to teleportation.
Giant of Le Noir
If a creature within 50 feet of you has the 'Oath of Obsidian' Paladin Subclass, they gain 1 'Blessing of the Obsidian God' stack at the start of each of their turns.
If a creature within 50 feet of you has the 'Haute Couture :: Le Noir' Fighter Subclass, they gain 1 'Le Noir Overcoat' stack at the start of each of their turns.
The effects of this feature only trigger during combat.
At 6th Level, you regain 1 Sorcery Point at the end of each of your turns.
At 14th Level, the effect stacks granted by this feature are increased to 2, and your regain 2 Sorcery Points at the end of each of your turns instead, however, the increased Sorcery Point regeneration only triggers an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus, after the trigger limit has been reached, the Sorcery Point regeneration decreases back to 1 until you roll initiative again.Exp@nded $pe|| L!st?
"Bad time for connection issues.."
Choose 2 spells from any class's spell list at each of the following Sorcerer Levels. These spells do not count against your spells known and you always have the spells prepared: level 3, level 5, level 7, level 9, and level 11.
If you choose a spell that uses a spell slot that you do not have access to yet, you may not cast that spell until you gain access to the required spell slot level.
Dies Irae - Level 6
" 'At last, eternity shall lay bare thy despair, and nail thy sin into everlasting record...' That's what I'm getting at, y'know?"
Cheater
Oi, the tosser looks right as rain again...
We've fought plenty of people who regenerate or heal themselves, but the way he does it seems...
...It's almost like he turned back time. Like you do, Manager.
When you are affected by the 'Slow' Spell, another creature's 'Timestop', or another spell that involves time or speed, you can choose to cancel the Spell. The spell ends immediately and the spell slot used is consumed.
When you are reduced to below 20% of your maximum Hit Points, if you have at least 5 Sorcery Points, you can choose to expend half of your current Sorcery Points (rounded up) to rewind yourself Immediately, regardless of if the attack reduces you to 0 hit points. When rewinding this way, you Heal hit points equal to your maximum hit points, and all conditions currently inflicted on you that you choose immediately end, excluding 'Prone'. Additionally, you may choose to teleport to an unoccupied space within 20 feet of you.
You do not regain spent resources when rewinding this way.
At level 18, when you use this feature, you may also choose to apply the effects to any number of creatures you choose within 40 feet of you.
Do you seriously mean to break the Sisyphe System?
You gain access to a new Administrator Panel option:
- User.Ban(Systemwide); Costs 6 Sorcery Points. Choose 1 Creature within 50 feet of you that is below half of its maximum hit points (bloodied). That creature must make a Constitution Saving throw, with Nailed creatures having disadvantage on the save. On a failure, the creature takes (Your Sorcerer Level)d6 Radiant Hit points, the creature is also stripped of any Damage Immunities and condition immunities, unless the removal of the immunity would not make sense (such as a Construct losing immunity to being Poisoned, Subject to DM Discretion) for 1d4+1 rounds. If this damage reduces a creature to 0 hit points, their body and soul are immediately Destroyed and cannot be restored except through the Wish spell or a similar effect.
On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and the damage cannot reduce the creature below Half their current class levels (for creatures without class levels, use their Challenge Rating instead), additionally they are not stripped of their Immunities.
At level 14, if you Ban a creature using this feature (reduce them to 0 hit points), you regain the Sorcery Points expended to use this feature.
Goddammit. How did you manage to find a glitch like that? - Level 14
"No system's glitch-free all the time, of course, but a bug this bad...? Tsk. Looks like I'll have to call maintenance."
Gotta Push that patch ASAP...
You gain access to a new Admin Panel option with special usage requirements.
- Shift + Delete. Costs 8 Sorcery Points. Can only target creatures that have 1.) Been targeted by Systemwide Bad. 2.) Failed the saving throw on Systemwide Ban. And 3.) Survived the Systemwide Ban. A creature remains as a valid target until the end of the encounter.
Targets all qualifying creatures in the current encounter, regardless of distance. The Targeted creatures must make a Constitution saving throw, on a failure, the creature takes (Your Sorcerer Level x2)d6 Radiant Hit points, and the target's damage immunities, damage resistances, and condition immunities are suppressed until the encounter ends. Additionally, if the creature that failed the save had spell slots, a random spell slot level is chosen, and the creature's current spell slots of the selected level are reduced to 0.
If this damage reduces a creature to 0 hit points, their body and soul are immediately Destroyed and cannot be restored except through the Wish spell or a similar effect.
On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and the damage cannot reduce the creature below a number of hit points equal to its highest Ability Score Modifier, and it does not lose spell slots.
Multi-tasker
Whenever you cast a spell or use an Administrator Panel option that targets one or more creatures other than yourself, you can choose one additional eligible creature to be targeted by that spell or option. The additional creature must satisfy the effect's targeting requirements. This feature doesn't increase the number of creatures affected by an effect that already targets multiple creatures, such as an area-of-effect spell, unless the effect requires you to select individual targets.
Your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to the total number of spell slots you have, plus the number of Sorcerer spells you know. This increase is recalculated whenever either number changes.
The Obsidian God - The Giant of Le Noir - The Chaplain - Les Marteaux - Level 18
" SV_Cheats = 1"
Time passes at a tremendous pace within the Sisyphe System, unhindered by material resistance. Giant who represents the Hammers holds authority over the System's internal memories and time, with the power to reset portions of its inventory at his own discretion.
Reditus Aeternus
You learn the spell "Time Ravage". If you already know the spell, choose another 9th level spell to learn. Time Ravage does not count against your spells known.
You may cast the "Time Ravage" spell without requiring Material components.
When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may choose to instead reduce their hit points to 1 and send them forward up to (Your proficiency bonus x10) Years into the future, the creature disappears from the current timeline and reappears at the chosen future time. It cannot interact with the present while absent.
Once per creature per turn, you deal damage to a creature, you may choose to increase or decrease their age by 1 year, or 2 years if they are below half their maximum hit points (bloodied) or are within the first 20% or last 20% of their race's life expectancy. Creatures who's age is increased to (Creature's Constitution modifier x2) above its life expectancy are aged to dust, creatures reduced to 0 years old are rewound to nothing. If the creature has no meaningful natural lifespan, the DM determines whether this effect can destroy it through aging.
Nailed creatures age Twice as much from magical aging caused by you, and you ignore creature's immunity to magical aging.
Effects of the Aging are up to DM Discretion.
Chaplain of the Sisyphe Penalty
When a creature you can see enters your reach or moves out of your reach, you can use your reaction to cast a spell of 3rd level or lower that targets only that creature, instead of making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must be capable of targeting the creature.
Your "Reach" for making opportunity attacks with spells increases to 10 feet.
When subject to a saving throw from another creature or trap, you may expend a number of Sorcery Points equal to the spell slot used to cast the triggering spell to automatically succeed on the saving throw. For saving throws caused by Traps or other effects without a definitive spell level, the DM decides how many sorcery points are required, up to a maximum cost of 9.
When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw.
Atone before God
When a creature misses you with an attack roll or spell attack roll, you may use a reaction to have the attacker make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature Grovels in fear, becoming prone and frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
You are immune to the Charmed and Frightened condition, if a creature attempts to charm or frighten you, they become subject to your Systemwide Ban admin panel effect without expending Sorcery Points or requiring the creature to be below half their maximum hit points. The creature has advantage on the saving throw if Systemwide Ban is used this way. A creature can only be subject to Systemwide Ban through this feature once per encounter.
