Base Class: Monk
You have stepped into the nothingness and embraced Truth. You reject all worldly connections and have adopted an existence of indifference towards the infinite. Violence is a means to an end, and you will move with relentless efficiency to end any threats that wish to place their existence higher than yours.
As water cannot help but flow, and fire cannot help but burn, the universe calls you to fight back.
Emptying the Mind
Starting at Level 3, your awareness of the physical world expands far beyond your own body, and you take your first steps into the nothingness. You now have access to Aura Scan and Enter the Void, and all opportunity attacks made against you have disadvantage.
Aura Scan. Outside of combat, you can become aware of all creatures within a 60 ft. radius and can analyze their current emotional state. When in combat, this ability's radius reduces to 30 ft., but you can additionally analyze all creatures' possible resistances and weaknesses. Any creature trying to conceal themselves must pass a WIS saving throw (DC 15), and any creature who successfully conceals themselves becomes aware of your presence. This ability can be cast once per short rest, and the scan remains active for up to an hour.
Enter the Void. Spend 2 ki points (3 ki points after level 6) to access a heightened state of existence--during this time, you focus your entire being on the fight at hand. This state ends or cannot be accessed if you are below half your maximum health, and it will end if you spend 1 full round without attacking an enemy. While in Enter the Void, you cannot be frightened or charmed.
After reaching level 4, you can spend 4 ki points to either activate or sustain this state for 5 more turns, even if you are below half your max health.
Freeing the Body
Starting at level 6, Enter the Void costs a total of 3 ki, but you gain access to both: Offensive Reflexes and Defensive Reflexes.
Offensive Reflexes. All unarmed damage you deal (not including modifiers or other bonuses) is doubled. Along with this, while in Enter the Void, you have an additional action on your turn to attack with an unarmed strike. You also can use Punishing Strike on all unsuccessful melee attacks against you.
Punishing Strike. Whenever an enemy deals no damage on a melee attack made against you, you can immediately retaliate on their same turn with an unarmed strike. This does not consume a reaction.
Defensive Reflexes. While sustaining Enter the Void, you gain +1 AC until the form ends. Additionally while in this form, you can: Dash as a bonus action and Dodge melee attacks (with advantage against non-magical melees) once per round as a reaction. Dodges cannot be made against any type of cantrips, spells, or projectile, even if the attack is touch or contact-based. For a successful Dodge, you negate all damage and effects, and for unsuccessful Dodges, you take half damage and are affected by the attack's secondary effects.
Relentless Force
Starting at level 11, all unarmed strikes made against enemies have advantage if you have used Aura Scan on them in the last 24 hours, and you now have proficiency on all DEX ability checks. Additionally, you can use Devastating Blast.
Devastating Blast. Costing 2 ki points, attack at range by launching a punch or kick with such force that it damages everything in front of it in a straight line up to 60 ft. with 3d10 Force damage. Targets must pass a DEX saving throw (DC 16), and take half damage on successful throws. This attack counts as a ranged attack, and therefore does not gain advantage from Relentless Force.
Oneness in the Nothing
Your awareness of yourself fades into a blinding darkness. You awaken the maximum potential of your mind, body, and soul.
Starting at level 17, you gain access to the attack, Omni-Present Strike, and you have advantage on all Perception checks and Constitution saving throws.
Omni-Present Strike. Once per short rest, you can channel your entire being into a multi-target attack. Target up to 6 creatures within a 45 ft. radius of your current location with a flash of unarmed blows made in quick succession on each target, dealing unarmed damage on each target. Roll DEX for each creature targeted. For every 2 targets hit with this attack, you regain 1 ki point (max of 3 ki regained). You reappear at your starting location after finishing your attacks, and this attack consumes all other actions and possible movement made on your turn. This attack gains advantage from Relentless Force.
