Base Class: Wizard
A wizard within the school of words is considered the nerdiest of the schools, as they often prize books and scrolls of the life of others and there own. Wizards from this school constantly search from books to record there studies and read. To be accepted into this school you MUST have the scholar background, other wise you are not nerdy enough.
Wizards from this school have discovered how to translate the spells into there spell books into ritual spells even if other wizards may not be able to, a single wizard may only have an amount of spells translated into ritual spells equal to their level. Only ONE of these spells may be a ninth level spell, for translating a spell of that magnitude to a ritual spell is to intensive on the limited paper within a spell book. Ritual calculations can be switched from one spell to the next, you will loose all the work of your previous ritual spell you are exchanging. It takes 8 hours of intense calculations to change a spell of half your level rounded down, and 8 days of intense calculations to change any spell above that, when you learn a new spell when you level up you may do the calculations in one fourth the time. When casting a spell as a ritual the time it takes is equal to the level, this includes both translated and normal ritual spells.
When a wizard of the school of words reaches 6th level they gain the linguist and keen mind feat at no cost.
When a wizard of the school of words reaches 10th level they gain the ability to memorize up to 5 spells at a time that they can cast without there spell book, they cannot be ritual. Also at 10th level you may cast comprehend languages, detect magic, and identify at will.
When a wizard of the school of words reaches 14th level they gain the ability to add a +15 bonus to any ability check or saving through involving written of spoken language.
