Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Sometimes when you take out a target you need some reassurance that the job will get done. The Slayer Roguish Archetype focuses on a more brutal method of executing opponents with heavy weapons and raw force. These rogues are often hangmen, blackguards, or enforcers.

Heavily Armed

Choose two types of weapons to be your slayer weapons: Each of these weapons can be any simple or martial weapon that lacks the ranged property. You gain proficiency with these weapons if you don’t already have it. Weapons of the chosen types can be used to sneak attack. When you reach 9th, 13th, and 17th level in this class, you can choose another type of weapon to be a slayer weapon for you, following the criteria above.

Impaler

At the 3rd level when you sneak attack an enemy with Large or Versatile slayer weapon you can choose to use a bonus action to impale them on your weapon. The target takes additional damage equal to a number of d6s times your strength modifier (to a minimum of 1). The target is then considered grappled by the Rogue. In order to escape the impaling strike, a creature must make a Constitution saving throw  (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a success, they escape the impalement. On a failure, they take additional damage again equal to a number of d6s times half (rounded up) your strength modifier (to a minimum of 1).

This can be used a number of times equal to your Strength modifier. You regain your uses of Impale at the end of a long rest.

Passing the Sentence

Gained at the 9th level. When sneak attacking with a melee or throwing weapon you can re-roll a number of d6s equal to your Strength modifier, but you must take the second result.

Bloody The Axe!

Starting at 13th level if you kill a creature with a sneak attack, you can now choose to glorify your kill, casting your opponent into a bloody heap. All chosen creatures within a 10ft radius must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + Strength Modifier + Proficiency bonus) or be terrified for a turn. All Creatures that pass this test are considered immune to this feature until then end of a week. Additionally, all friendly creatures within a 30ft radius may look poorly on your brutal display at the DMs discretion.

Massive Swing

Starting at the 17th level, when sneak attacking with a slayer weapon you can hit and inflict damage on two chosen opponents in a cone equal to the reach of your weapon. Additionally, if two opponents are in a line directly in front of you. You can choose to sneak attack both of them and impale both of them. The furthest opponent is also treated as being grappled will move and rotate based upon the position of the opponent closest to you.
