Base Class: Rogue
Followers of the Path of the Black Cat utilize the ability to "gamble" in combat, allowing them to do more damage, SOME of the time...
Black Cat's Eyes
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Perception and can add advantage to Perception checks involving sight.
Double or Nothing
Starting at 3rd level, you may invoke the luck of the Black Cat to increase your sneak attack damage... or not. Roll double the damage die for the sneak attack that round. If you roll an even amount of damage, you deal that much damage, if you roll an odd amount, you do 0 damage with your sneak attack bonus. The rest of the attack's damage is dealt as normal. You can activate this ability equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1). Uses are recovered after a short or long rest.
Three-Dragon Ante Rush
Starting at 9th level, you can throw 3 cards from your Three-Dragon Ante deck at enemies. Each card counts as a thrown weapon ranged attack with a range of 20/40 and must be at different targets. Shuffle a deck of playing cards and deal three cards facedown in order, then roll each attack separately. If the attack hits, flip the card, it deals damage based on it's suit and value:
Ace = deal another card, and double the damage of the new card. The damage type is the type of the Ace.
2-10 = the number on the card
Jack, Queen, King = 15, 20 and 25 respectively.
Hearts = Fire damage
Spades = Cold Damage
Diamond = Lightning Damage
Clubs = Acid Damage
You may cast this a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier and may recover uses with a long rest.
Cat Pounce
At 13th level, you gain proficiency on Acrobatics (If you do not have it already) and can unleash a pounce attack on an enemy. As an action, you can move 20ft in a straight line towards an enemy and attack. If the enemy has not acted this combat yet, you have advantage on attacks against the enemy and attacks that hit count as critical hits.
All In
Starting at 17th level, you may go All In on any Three-Dragon Ante Rush or Double or Nothing attack. If you go All in on Three-Dragon Ante and all 3 attacks land and only pull numerical cards (2-10), you quadruple the damage to all three targets. If any of them are picture cards, or the attacks do not land, you take the damage from all three cards instead.
If you go All In on a Double or Nothing and it lands on an even number, quadruple the damage instead of double. If it is odd, you take the damage instead.
You may do this a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier - 1 and recover all uses after a Long Rest.
