Oath of the Phoenix

The Oath of the Phoenix calls its paladins to protect all those who are good and to root out evil wherever it dwells. 

Tenets of the Phoenix: The Phoenix wishes its Paladins to guide and lead others to prosperity while rooting out evil.

Guidance: Those straying from the light or losing hope need a beacon to rally to.

Leadership: Lead the lost to their goals.

Justice: Evil has no place in this world.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Intense Flames. You can increase the potency of fire and radiant damage.When you make an attack that deals either fire or radiant damage you can use your channel divinity to deal maximum fire or radiant damage.

Undying Phoenix. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can can use your channel divinity to drop to 1 hit point instead.

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of the Phoenix Spells

Spirit of the Phoenix

Starting at 7th level, you can reroll a 1 or 2 on a damage dice when you roll fire and radiant damage. You must use the new roll, even if it is a 1 or a 2. You also gain resistance to fire and radiant damage.

Holy Fire

Beginning at 15th level, when you deal fire or radiant damage you add your Charisma modifier to the total damage.

Avatar of the Phoenix

At 20th level, as an action, you can emanate an aura of sunlight. For 1 minute, bright light shines from you in a 30-foot radius, and dim light shines 30 feet beyond that.

Whenever an enemy creature damages you while within the bright light they take 5 points of fire damage and 5 points of radiant damage.

In addition, for the duration, you are immune to fire and radiant damage and have a flying speed of 60 ft.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
