Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Shield-Maidens are women who use their shield as both an offensive a defensive tool.

(note: this class works best with my home brewed weapons, the serrated, spiked, and heavy shields)

Weaponized shields

Shield dual weild

you now have the ability to dual wield shields

Additional Fighting Style

At 10th level, you can choose a second option from the Fighting Style class feature.

Archery

You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

Defense

While you are wearing armor, you gain a +1 bonus to AC.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Great Weapon Fighting

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Protection

When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. You must be wielding a shield.

Two-Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

thrown shield

Starting at 15th level, your shield can be used as a ranged weapon with a range of (20/60) and have it ricochet between enemies.

after the first hit, your shield can use your extra attack feat to bounce to another enemy within 20 ft of the first.

make a new attack roll for each hit.

if at any point your shield misses it travels the remaining distance and lands on the ground, or it collides with nearest surface.

if you hit all targets or decide to end the attack, the shield bounces back to you and you automatically catch it.

Shield savant

At 18th level, Once per long rest when you are required to make a DEX saving throw against a spell and succeed, you can then choose to reflect the spell back at the caster.

the caster (and anyone else caught in the spell) must then make DEX saving throws, as if the spell originated from you.

the dc equals 8+ DEX + prof.
