Base Class: Bard
Bards of the college of rap configure their musical magic through the modern style of rhythmic poetry. Despite potentially lacking the melodic talents of some of their other bardic counterparts, these musicians use their aggressive beats and inspiring words to set the pace of the battle. When a rapping bard wants to speed up or slow down the battle, they can set the pace as such with quick words of wit and strength. Their powerful language and slick verse can lead a party to success even in the most dire of situations.
In society, bards studying under the college of rap are famed for their verses and are adored by much of society. While dedicated musicians or aristocrats may see the craft as sloppy or uncivilized, those in the lower tiers of society see these wordsmiths as leaders and heroes. Serving as captains of the underdogs, skilled rap artists can expect much adoration from the portion of society that cares little about class. They tend to walk with an inherent swagger and find themselves rarely performing social deeds in secrecy.

Hot Lyrics
When you join the College of Rap at 3rd level, you gain the ability to make your lyrics burn into a creature's mind.
When you hit a creature with Vicious Mockery, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to deal an extra 2d6 fire damage to that target. You can do so only once per round on your turn.
The fire damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 3d6 at 5th level, 5d6 at 10th level, and 8d6 at 15th level.
Lyrics of Mesmerism
At 3rd level, you learn to infuse the littest of lyrics with an insidious magic that can mesmerise.
If you speak to a humanoid alone for at least 1 minute, you can attempt to seed rap in its mind. At the end of the conversation, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed of you or another creature of your choice. The target is charmed in this way for 1 hour, until it is attacked or damaged, or until it witnesses its allies being attacked or damaged.
If the target succeeds on its saving throw, the target has no hint that you tried to charm it.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Rapid Rhyme
At 6th level, your learn to perform your verses at an exceptional pace, enhancing your spell casting ability.
You can enhance your musical magic by accelerating your speech. Immediately after casting a spell that requires an action to cast, you can spend your bonus action to cast a spell that typically requires an action to cast. When using this feature, you can ignore any restriction against casting two levelled spells in one round, but you must still spend the necessary spell slots for both spells.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest. Once you reach 12th level in this class, you can use this feature twice before completing a long rest.
The Hottest New Mix Tape
At 14th level, you discover a burst of inherent musical potential, allowing you to release a verse of straight fire at one enemy.
Using an action, you force one creature to face the fiery flare of your rap and make a charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the target is insulted, exposed, and roasted, causing them to take 6d6 fire damage and 6d6 psychic damage. On a successful save, the target takes half damage. Any creature with an intelligence less than 3 cannot be affected by this feature.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest.
