Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You have a natural ability to alter the world around you with nothing but a thought. Through training and practise you have improved upon your gifts and gained mastery over reality simply using your mind. You psionic powers may have come about as a side effect of a freak accident, a blessing from some otherworldly being, or perhaps you were born with it. Through natural instincts and practise you have gained the ability to change the world around you with concentrated thought, enough to bend The Weave itself.

Psionic Focus

As a psionic caster you do not require material components or a focus when casting spells. If a spell requires a cost, you must have the consumed materials.

Dampen

When you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage, you can spend 1 sorcery point to use your reaction to grant resistance to the creature against that instance of the damage.

Psionic Recovery

Once per day when you finish a short rest, you can choose expended spell slots to recover. The spell slots can have a combined level that is equal to or less than half your sorcerer level (rounded up), and none of the slots can be 6th level or higher.

For example, if you’re a 4th-level sorcerer, you can recover up to two levels worth of spell slots. You can recover either a 2nd-level spell slot or two 1st-level spell slots.

Mental Fortitude

You gain resistance to Force damage and immunity to Psychic damage.

Mind Over Matter

When you reach 14th level in this class you learn the Telekinesis spell, and it does not count against your number of known spells. You can also cast the 'Object' component of this spell at will.

Mental Flexibility

You have trained your mind to a point where you can concentrate on multiple forces at once.

If you cast a spell or use an effect that requires concentration while you are already concentrating on another such effect, you can spend 5 sorcery points to concentrate on both effects for up to 1 minute. At the end of that time you can choose one effect to continue concentrating on for the rest of its duration. You cannot concentrate on more than two effects at a time using this feature.

If you are forced to make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration during this time, a failed save ends your concentration on both effects.
