Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Gentleman Dandy lose out on the ability to wear Heavy Armor until 5th level but gain the skill of Heraldry. They can recognise and be recognized by nobility and influential government personel. They can add their Dexterity bonus to their Charisma bonus when dealing with with influential people.

At 5th level they gain the normal ability of fighters to wear heavy armor but it must be of good quality and must be well maintained. It generally takes them that long to learn how to use their magic fluently while wearing armor, and bulky armor is just a step too much until they get a little more experienced at it. Even after 5th level, the armor they choose must be of high quality or they would rather go without. After all, what is the use of wearing armor if it makes you look ugly!

Keep in mind that this sub-class is built for the player to have fun. Though it can be coupled with other classes to build a powerful combination, the restrictions must always be kept in order to maintain the dandyish way of life. Flamboiant colors, frills and lace are not tactical but may be great for the look. Prestidigitation is used each day to clean and alter the color of the outfit of any Gentleman Dandy, as they would not be caught dead in the same look as they had the day before.

Gentleman Dandy Strut

Remember, your cantrips are generally harmless but can often be used to cause a distraction. If you use this feature against a creature, that creature can't make opport unity attacks
against you for the rest of your turn.

Imbune Greatness

Your sense of cleanlienss and style are so powerful that your Prestidigitation becomes semi-perminant on your own items so long as they are on your person. You must spend a few minutes each morning re-applying this effect, but who are we kidding, you were going to do that anyway...

Uncanny Dodge

Through a flourish of your weapon and a little fancy footwork you dodge nibly out of the way. You dip, duck, dodge and weave through enemies attacks while making small comments about their unworthyness of your attention. Normally this is done to demoralize your enemy and make you look good, but it is also a great defense.

Outlandishly Stunning

Using Prestidigitation you create an effect that is either mind boggling or so flashy that it captivates and overwhelms the senses of your opponent temporarily. This can only be done after a successful strike and must use your bonus action to set up and cast. The effect can be of your choosing (the more outlandish the better) and must be in keeping with your character. The opponent rolls a Wisdom check vurses your spell DC of becomes stunned until the beginning of your next round. After the enemy recovers they become enraged at the idea of your ability to make them look foolish and gain a bonus of +2 to any damage they cause you for the following round.

Please note that the bonuses to damage do not stack if the opponent is stunned more than once consecutively. He or She simply gains +2 to any damage done for the next single round. This ability can only be done through the casting of Prestidigitation, so it can be stopped by effects of couterspell, anti-magic shells or any effect that would stop the casting of the spell.

A Charming Request

Please note that the quest is one befitting the power of an Epic Boon. (See DM's Guide page 231) Whether the major power actually likes the Gentleman Dandy, set him/her a quest just to shut them up or even sent him/her on a quest thinking that they would die and not bother them again... the quest should take at least a full level (possibly two) to complete and be somewhat attainable by the character. The quest can not be blatantly suicidal or the Gentleman Dandy would never agree to it. At the same time, it should be an EPIC quest worthy of the reward.

This Epic Boon can not be bestowed upon a character under 20th level so the Gentleman Dandy can not have the reward for this until he/she is at least that powerful.
