Way of Resolve

 

 Monks of the Way of Resolve are beings of brute-force, treating every altercation like it may be there last. They call upon their grit to persevere, consume Ki to support their impositions,  and are known for falling only when every last ounce of their will has been spent.

Unyielding Grit

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn how to tap into your primal will to live. If you are below 50% rounded down of your Max HP, you can use your action to regain Temporary HP equal to your Strength modifier + your Wisdom modifier + your Monk level. You may use this ability once per long rest.

Unarmored Defense

Beginning at 3rd level, while you are wearing no armor and not wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Strength modifier + your Wisdom modifier. This replaces the Unarmored Defense feature of the Monk class.

Knockout Blow

At level 6, when you use your flurry of blows, your first unarmed strike may score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

Cross Guard

Starting at 6th level, you can use your reaction to spend a Ki point and block a successful melee weapon attack made against you. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d10 + your Strength modifier + your monk level. If you reduce the damage to 0, you can choose to grapple or shove the target.

Limitless Stamina

At level 11, your endurance is increased. When Unyielding Grit is used, you also regain half your Ki points rounded down. In addition, your may now use Unyielding Grit twice per long rest.

Deadly Fortitude

At 17th level, your ability to persevere has transcended common nature. When you are reduced to 0 HP you may still take Actions and function as if you were otherwise at 1 HP. You must still make death saving throws on each turn, and if you stabilize you regain 1 Hp and 1 Ki point. On a Critical Success you regain an additional use of Unyielding Grit.
