Abillities

When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess to use abillities.
These abillities you are learning from the demon are looking simillar to some spellbooks spells but it has his own unique style.

Cantrips

You learn two cantrips abillities from the demon. You learn an additional magic cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Abillities Slots

The Path of the Fire Demon Abillities table shows how many abillity slots you have to cast your abillities of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these abillities, you must expend a slot of the abillity's level or higher. You regain all expended abillity slots when you finish a long rest.

For example, if you know the 1st-level abillity Hellish Rebuke and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level abillity slot available, you can cast Hellish Rebuke using either slot.

Abillities Known of 1st Level and Higher

You know three 1st-level abillities of your choice.

The Abillities Known column of the Path of the Fire Demon Abillities table shows when you learn more abillities of 1st level or higher. Each of these abillities must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new abillity of 1st or 2nd level.

Abillity modifier

Charisma is your modifier for your abillities, since you learn your abillities through study and memorization. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for an abillity you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Abillity save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Abillity attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier
