Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Force train to enhance their abilities with arcane power, as well through their weapons. Founded on the basis of peace, Monks of the Force will employ any power necessary to preserve peace. Force Monks are not opposed to using force, but act in a restrained matter, striving for more peaceful solutions. Their powers consist of more non lethal methods, but even this way of life will end one for the preservation of peace.
Force Sensitive
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you to master the use of certain weapons. This path also the ability to learn spells practiced by Force Monks.
Martial Discipline. Your training in combat has granted you proficiency in longswords, shortswords, scimitars, and rapiers.
Force Attunement. Your natural inclination to the force has granted you powerful abilities at your command. A Force Ability requires you to spend a ki point each time you use it, as well as additional ki points for increased effect. You gain the ability to cast Force Choke, Lightning, Mind Trick, Hold, and Push/Pull.
Weapons of the Disciplined
At 6th level, you extend your force into your weapons, granting you the following benefits.
Force Strike. When you hit a target with a weapon, you can spend 1 ki point to cause the weapon to deal extra damage to the target equal to your Martial Arts die. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
Enhanced Force Power
When you reach 6th level in this class, your training with the force has allowed you to add your Class Level{{classlevel}} to all of your Force Abilities damage once per short rest.
Defensive Stance
At 11th level, you gain the ability to deflect a foes melee weapon attacks. You can use your reaction to deflect a melee weapon when you are attacked by a melee weapon attack. When you do so the damage you take is reduced by 1d10{{modifier:dex+classlevel}}. If you reduce the damage to 0, you can spend 1 ki point to make a melee weapon attack.
Superior Force Power
When you reach 11th level in this class, you can choose one weapon to become an extension of yourself and the force. You also gain the ability to cast your Force Abilities as a bonus action.
Offensive Stance
At 17th level, you understand that some things are worth fighting for, giving you an additional attack per action.
Master of the Force
When you reach 17th level in this class, you learn the ability to cast Force Shield and Force Heal, as well as enhancing your original ones.
