Base Class: Barbarian
You fight in the name of Domiel, the Mercy-Bringer. Domiel rules the Golden Heaven of Mercuria, the second layer of Celestia. Great tombs and wondrous mausoleums dot Mercuria’s golden landscape, and Domiel has sworn an oath to prevent their desecration. Domiel also opposes tyranny, visiting death and ruin upon evil tyrants and all who follow them.
Aurilon, the Golden Spire, serves as Domiel’s redoubt. The 400-foot-tall tower of burnished gold rises from a pristine lake formed by the meeting of four rivers, in the middle of a verdant valley.
Greatsworder
You are especially skilled in greatswords, Domiel’s weapon of choice. Starting when you take this path at 3rd level, while you're raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a greatsword takes extra slashing damage equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian level.
In addition, you can wield greatswords even if you normally cannot wield heavy weapons, as Domiel blesses you with his strength.
Heaven's Heart
Beginning at 6th level, you can't be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Tomb Guardian
At 10th level, you understand Domiel's methods of fighting undead. You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track undead, as well as on Intelligence checks to recall information about them. If you are actively tracking an undead creature, you cannot be surprised by any undead creature.
You have advantage on all saving throws against spells cast by undead creatures and against their abilities, and you can never be possessed by them.
Freedom's Cry
At 14th level, you can break the physical and magical chains that bind others. As a bonus action, you raise your weapon and give a mighty shout. Any creatures of your choice that can see or hear you are affected by the Freedom of Movement spell until the end of your next turn.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
You are encouraged to replace the 20th level feature Primal Champion with the following ability:
Summon Tyrant-Slayer
At 20th level, you have so impressed Domiel with your service that he is willing lend you his personal weapon, the flaming greatsword Tyrant-Slayer. As an action, you can call from the second layer of Heaven Tyrant-Slayer. The greatsword is made for Domiel, who stands nearly 11 feet tall, but you can wield the massive blade without issue, even if you cannot normally wield heavy weapons.
Tyrant-Slayer is a +3 greatsword that deals 2d8 base damage, plus 1d8 fire damage that ignores fire resistance and does damage to creatures immune to fire as if they instead had resistance. Creatures of an evil alignment take an additional 1d8 slashing damage. If you hit a tyrant with it (DM’s discretion), it deals an additional 10 slashing damage.
After 1 minute, Tyrant-Slayer returns to its owner. After you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
