Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Roaring Iron train to master a deadly combination of martial arts and firearms
combat. Whether they train to be deadly assassins, or go down the path of infamy as outlaws,
these dexterous marksmen tear through the battlefield with graceful blows and thunderous fire.

Fire Arm Proficiency

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you've learned how to integrate gun-slinging into your fighting style. You gain proficiency in all firearms, and are considered monk weapons for the purpose of monk abilities. Additionally, you do not have disadvantage when firing a firearm while in melee combat.

Gunsmith

Upon choosing this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Tinker's Tools. You may use them to craft ammunition at half the cost, repair damaged firearms, or even draft and create new ones (DM's discretion).

Lethal Defense

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to counter attacks with deadly force. When you use Patient Defense, and a creature makes an attack against you, you may use your reaction to make an attack against that creature with your firearm.

Enchanted Rounds

Starting at 6th level, the Ki that radiates from your body bleeds into your firearm's ammunition. Whenever you make an attack roll with your firearm and miss, you can spend a Ki point to re-roll the attack roll against a different target within 60 feet of the original target. Additionally, your firearm attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage.

Tranquil Mind

Starting at 11th level, you learn to clear your mind to efficiently handle your weapons. Once per round, you may spend a Ki point to gain advantage on all attacks with your firearm. Your firearm attacks also score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. These bonuses last until the start of your next turn. After using this ability, your speed is halved for the remainder of your turn.

Additionally, you can spend a Ki point to attempt to repair a misfired (but not broken) firearm as a bonus action.

Storm of Steel

Starting at 17th level, you have learned to attack with blinding speed and frightening accuracy. When you use Flurry of Blows, you may make ranged attacks with your firearm in place of unarmed strikes.
