Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

At some point in your life, your very soul has been loosened from the fixed flow of time into an expanded perception of past, present, and future. Perhaps you fiddled with an archaic artifact from a bygone era that channeled the knowledge of the ages directly into your being, or you began to blink in and out of existence when you attempted to divine the events of the future. Another possibility for a timetouched sorcerer's power is that of some sort of fate-aligned deity intervening and choosing a mortal for their purposes in realigning the weave of fate with their will.

Regardless of the specific origin, timetouched sorcerers see the paths to many different outcomes, all of which are under their scrutiny for selection.

Time Heals All Wounds

When you choose this Sorcerous Origin at 1st level, you can bend time to make it as if injuries had never occurred. As an action, you may touch a creature and heal it for a number of hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your sorcerer level. You can use this feature again after a Short or Long Rest.

Shifting Fates

Starting at 6th level, you are able to pull favorable timelines to the forefront of possibility. When you or an ally you can see within 30 feet of you is forced to make a saving throw, you may use your reaction to expend 2 sorcery points to grant advantage on the saving throw. You can grant this effect to additional allies within range, spending an additional sorcery point for each additional ally. You can affect a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier with this ability (minimum of 1).

You can no longer be aged by magical means.

Precognitive Preparation

Starting at 14th level, you are able to glimpse into possible futures to ready yourself for harm that might befall you or your allies. When you finish a Short or Long Rest, you may choose from the following damage types: fire, cold, lightning, thunder, or acid. You and up to five other creatures that you can see within 30 feet of you gain resistance to that damage type until your next Long Rest.

A creature already benefiting from that type of damage resistance does not gain any benefits from this feature.

Temporal Step

At 18th level, you have learned how to weave yourself into the strands of time itself. As a bonus action, you may expend 6 sorcery points to assume an ethereal form for one minute where you:

  • Gain immunity to force damage
  • Gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • You can see into the Ethereal Plane for 120 feet around you.

Additionally, your movement happens instantaneously and does not trigger attacks of opportunity.

Temporal Displacement

When you choose this Sorcerous Origin at 1st level, you are able to expect the unexpected. You are immune to the surprised condition.

At 3rd level, you learn the blur spell and may expend 2 sorcery points to cast the spell. If you use sorcery points to cast this spell, creatures that would ordinarily be immune to the effects of this spell would not be.
