Arcane Knowledge

At 3rd level, you gain great knowledge of the inner workings of magic. You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill and your proficiency bonus for Arcana is doubled so long as you possess no spell slots.

Zone of Control

At 3rd level, you learn how to manipulate the magic in the air around you, exerting a zone of control over the area within a 10 foot radius of you. If a creature attempts to cast a spell while in your zone of control, it must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw against your Spell Quencher DC (8+your proficiency bonus+your Intelligence Modifier) or its spell is countered. You may activate or deactivate your zone of control as a bonus action. At 10th level, the radius of your zone of control extends to 20 ft. At 18th level, the radius of your zone of control extends to 30 ft and your proficiency bonus is doubled when calculating your zone of control’s DC.

Arcane Denial

At 7th level, you gain the ability to counter magic using your reaction (as if with the spell counterspell) a number of times per short or long rest equal to your Intelligence modifier. The level of your arcane denial equals one third of your fighter level rounded up. At 15th level, you may use arcane denial an additional number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.

Dispelling Strike

At 10th level, when you hit a creature or object under the effect of a spell with a weapon attack, you may dispel that magic as if casting the spell dispel magic. The equivalent spell level of your dispel magic equals half of your fighter level rounded up (maximum of level 9). If you successfully dispel magic in this way, the target takes an additional 2d8 force damage from your attack. At 18th level, this damage increases to 4d8 force damage and creatures of a magical nature now take an additional 1d8 force damage from all of your weapon attacks.

Arcane Absorption

At 15th level, you gain the ability to absorb the arcane power of spells that target a location, area, object, or creature within your zone of control. The spell is negated and you gain temporary hit points equal to 3 times the spell’s level. You may use this feature once per short or long rest.

Anti-Magic Strike

At 18th level, you gain the ability to siphon magical energy with your attacks. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you may force the target to make an Intelligence save against your Spell Quencher DC. If it fails, it cannot cast magic until the start of your next turn as if it was inside an anti-magic field. If a creature succeeds on this save, you cannot use this effect on it for one minute.
